Don't expect Khan to fight anyone who has a punch in the near future. I t just ain't going to happen.Comment

I have a quiet admiration for Prescott. He broke my heart in 2008, but he deserved to win that night. I would love to see a rematch between him and Khan. I feel that Khan would win at this stage of his career, but Prescott KO'd Khan once, and he would have a great chance of doing it again.
It's sad how he beat Khan, and is now fighting for peanuts on undercards. But hopefully if a fight is made with Khan, he will get a bumper payday. He deserves it.Comment

Since the Prescott setback Khan has come on leaps and bounds...
Prescott can join the queue
It's he's own doing that hes fighting for peanuts on undercards, he failed to capitalise on that spectacular ko.Last edited by Bob * Weave; 05-22-2010, 03:47 PM.Comment

Maybe. But I like the guy and would like to see him make some money. He isn't going to go far in this sport. He will end up as a contender/journeyman at best. However, the Khan victory warrants him some respect.Comment

On the other hand a fight with Maidana would be better for the title. So I'd take Maidana first.Comment

I think one major reason that Prescott is still a danger to Khan is his size/height/reach.
Obviously everyone knows that he hits hard and that Khan's chin isn't too good, but another factor is that Khan likes to keep people on the end of his punches, and so does Prescott. So the best range for Khan to be at to land punches is also the worst range for him to be at to avoid Prescott's shots.
Mitchell looked small against Prescott, but he used that to his advantage in a way that a taller opponent would struggle to pull off. Lots of headmovement, ducking down low to get in and then coming up with a short hook, working inside etc. Khan has never fought that way and is probably too tall and not good enough at close-range to pull that approach off for 12 rounds.
I think Khan would win a rematch, but IMO he is more likely to lose to a rangy guy with moderate power than a shorter guy with major power.Comment
