Chad Dawson is the best boxer on the planet

He's one of the best for sure. He needs to beat a couple more guys to be closer to the top. I believe Pascal is solid, not great. So just beating him wouldn't do it. Cloud will be a stiff test and if he can get past him, I'd be very impressed.

I think many people are in for a shock when Pascal fights Dawson.

Chad has fought two old faded opponents twice each. He arguably lost the first fight with Johnson.

Pascal is fast with power, he'll be the first prime opponent for Dawson since the weight-drained Adamek.

No question the guy is skilled, but he fades at the end of fights and doesn't have a very good chin. I'm not saying that getting praise from Mayweather isn't a good thing.

No he gets bored after dominating opponents with his superior skill and technique so he coasts at times.....there is a difference.

Did you see how easily he beat Johnson in a rematch? Chad was standing right in front of him using angles and hitting him with whatever he wanted at will while Glen a good pressure boxer could do nothing and really at most could have won 2 round though I only had him winning the 12th.

You would have a good Glen was shot argument but he beat a top 10 LHW by tko just after that boxing lesson.

Agree with the TS, Dawson is clearly one of the best in Boxing.

IMO, he's on Floyd's level of Boxing skill and above Calderon. He suffers from being in a crap division but his skills speak for themselves.

Disagree....Andre Ward has better skills than Chad....and I would love to see them fight @ 175lbs.....

Tarver had a rematch clause. Everyone said Johnson beat Dawson in the first fight so naturally there was a call for a rematch.

Your horrible bias is showing again my friend. Adamek was the undefeated LHW champion when Dawson DOMINATED him for 11 out of 12 rounds. Adamek moved up afterwards but to call him straight weight-drained is biasly taking credit where it was due.

Moreover I can't stand when people do what you just did. You say he "arguably lost the first fight" many people say he might have so you know what he does? He rematched Johnson and DOMINATED him. Give some damn credit. He can be p4p number 1 if he had some more elite comp and fought more than once a year.

I know his resume doesn't justify that ranking but I am going on what I see and the fact that I dont think anyone at 175 can even compete with him.

I also think Dawson could move to Cruiserweight and school everyone at the weight including Huck, Wlodarcyk and Cunningham.
