Chad Dawson is very slick and a great fighter. He seems like such a regular guy which is why most fight fans like him. If he was exposed to general sports fans and in a more compelling division I feel he would gain more popularity.

But that doesn't seem to be what he wants. He wants to fly under the radar and be an elite fighter and there's nothing wrong with that.

Iván Calderón Marrero is definitely more skilled than Floyd and Chad Dawson, but IMO these two guys are more complete all-around Boxers than him..

I don't know about the best but I think he's really, really good. Always have. And he's got a nice little resume for someone who should be just entering their prime. Harding, Adamek, Johnson, Tarver. Not bad. I think he could have added a Hopkins or Calzaghe to his resume but it didn't happen for him. He's got a good trainer, boxes exceptionally well and is one of the better defensive fighters in the game. He's now an experienced champ. He also better hope someone - anyone from the Super Six - moves up. I'd love to see him against Ward or Dirrell.

His defense is a little overrated, he gets hit clean a bit in all his fights. Very good fighter though.

Yes he does have elite skill, and he gets little attention for the reason I am such a supporter of him aside from his skill..........he is a humble family man who lets his performances and skill set shown in the ring do the talking for him not his mouth.
