No one's "capstoning" their legacy with Haye. The guy is a flavor of the month, and guess what? His month have passed. In fact if he even wants to come near anything decent he will have to fight Wlad/Vitaly, or else he will just be another Don King WBA champion, which is more of a chumpion. Klitschkos want to bring on a show, because on paper Haye looks to be a decent rivalry, at least on press conferences he will act like he ain't scared(which is dubious at this point) but neither brother needs him for anything else then to satisfy their hunger for violence and their bank accounts. And even that is quite questionable. As for the "limited years" it is Haye thats planning to retire when he is 31.

you are just foolish haye nuthugger....he better fight vitali because for him its just business, Wlad will want to murder him in the ring, I would go as far as to say he will take a point deduction to crack haye after the bell and break his nose but not knock him out.

He may always have a fanbase in England but Brits are die hards about their fighters so I expect that.
If Haye ends up knocking out both Klitschko,s I doubt he'll care about "looking bad" for a couple of months on an internet forum. The casual fan does not stare at boxingscene 24 hours per day so when Haye fights Vitali in December, it will be like he never skipped a beat.

Lets be honest, the Klits have almost no one else meaningful left to fight.

They have like 4 options other than Haye in Adamek, Valuev, Solis and Povetkin.

Haye is younger and has been in the HW division much less time, he can fight some of the contenders than the Klitschko's fought and still make money because he's hasn't fought them yet and he's exciting.

They have much less options than people realise. Haye is ducking and dodging but I don't believe he's scared, I think he's trying to get every advantage by making the Klitscko's more desperate he'll get a bigger split and he's going to increasingly get into their heads.

If Wlad fights angry he might revert to his old ways which got him KO'd twice (the Brewster fight was odd)

Well he would have to get in the ring with one of them 1st and after the buzz around him is gone him getting any kind of a good deal is gone. If he was really as good a business man as I thought he was, he would make a deal now while he can cash in before ppl just forget about him.

As for casual fans, maybe in the Brit isles he has a fanbase but is totally unknown here in the states and I am not sure about the rest of the world but I have met no one who knows who David Haye is other than hardcore fans like myself.

so, did you just admit that Haye is waiting for both Klitschkos to get old because that's the only way he believes he stands a chance at defeating either one of them?

                      wow that's sad.
