[QUOTE=Iceta Lives;8439850]If Cotto belongs in the Hall of Fame like his hardcore fans say, then why is this fight 50-50? It's considered a toss up by a lot of people not including me because Cotto just aint that good.[/QUOTE

I don't know, when one of his hardcore fans says it's a 50/50 fight then maybe we can address your question...

Steward really enjoys the psychological aspect of boxing. This is a total reversal from what Cotto is used to and hopefully motivates and focuses him revitalizing an already excellent career.

same thing I was thinking, or probably Cotto is not showing results as he is suppossed to be......

how isnt cotto good??name every fighter mayweather fought that has also fought cotto n tell me who won more convincely...cotto killed victoriano sosa, killed zab judah n killed chop chop corley all while mayweather struggled against all of them...cotto is already a legend its just ashame that margaritos plaster ruined his career cuz if it werent for that he would still be undefeated n calling all the shots n mayweather would have stayed retired and pacquiao would have never even came up in weight with his juice

i dont think it matter seriously cotto doesnt have problems against some one that cant hurt him and if he cant hurt him cotto will even have a chance to show his own boxing skills, but i dont think he will box he will just go out there for the kill his jab will dominate n it will be stopped before the 8th cotto will explode all his emotions after losing his dad i would not wanna be ther boxer who has to face this guy after all hes gone through this past year and some change.

sounds like steward is trying to cover his ass. either he believes cotto is a shot fighter, like i do or he's trying to hype the fight and he ain't the hype fight type

I was wondering the same thing myself. He is certainly giving out the impression that he's not convinced his man can win, possibly by what he sees in Cottos performance.
