Iv done alot of shadow boxing, heavy bag work, and little training here and there. Mainly for cardio reasons. Boxed people on campus and back at home but nothing major lol.

Yea I havent boxed competitively in about 8yrs, but I can hold my own sparring with most guys. I broke my arm and didnt spar for about 8weeks and this was the first person I sparred and he was just way too fast for me. I had an exhibition fight at the gym about 5 yrs ago with the regional SHW kickboxing champ who outweighed me by about 70lbs. I worked him over and ended up rocking him, but as soon as I rushed him he uppercutted me and it was over.

I still train but not at the hectic pace that active fighters do. Great cardio and keeps me in excellent condition. Plus I got to do mitts with some of the fighters and sometimes I got to spar with with them. First time I went in the ring I was eager till I got tired and starting to get hit from all angles. Then I realized that this sport takes full commitment even if you are in a great physical shape.
