And yet I did see one thing during that fight: Ricky knocked Floyd off-balance a few times in the first two rounds. After that, whenever Hatton got even close to Mayweather, the referee came in and split them up. Hatton was basically not allowed to fight his type of rugged, rough-up the guy and smother his punching room type of fight because of the official. Not because of Floyd Mayweather.

If Mayweather had simply taken it away with sound tactics, I'd say this idea is a wash. But I feel that, in England, with a ref that's okay with a Joe Frazier type of rough-up-close fight, Hatton would have stood a better chance. Now? He's just had too much time off.
I find it absolutely comical how you try to validate this ridiculous post by trying to come off as more of a Hatton hater than a Mayweather hater, with your first paragraph. So, I guess it was the refs fault that Ricky ran into that check hook and subsequently the ring post, huh?

Do you feel proud posting this? Not even the biggest Hatton fan could believe such idiocy.

Floyd ain't the same, last time they were about the same size now Floyd will be the stronger, bigger man. Hatton would get seriously hurt this time, 1 thing to get knocked out another to take a beating all night everyround. Just look at Meldrick Taylor.

God damn it Ricky. Save some dignity and retire. Youre not beating Floyd.

Don't you want people to take you seriously? Come on, I know you realize how ****** this post is. Show your intelligence some respect.

If this version of Hatton ever fought Floyd, he wouldn't make it past the 6th round and that's being nice. Floyd is bigger and stronger now, and Hatton is just bigger and fatter. His chin is plastic right now, and any sign of his legs, speed and power went down as quick as he did against Pacquiao. If he tried to make 147 right now, he'd look like he lacks melanin. This Hatton is about 20% of the one that fought Pacquiao, and 5% of the one that fought Floyd. He'd look like Monte Barrett in his last few fights.
