Funny he calims the decision in the tournament have been a disgrace cuz he has benefited from those very disgraceful decisions he is speaking of. Dirrell beat him IMO and I dont like either fighter.

Froch took his first lost and not behaving like the champion he supposedly once was. He's acting like he's coming off a lost from a devastating KO.

        it is sheer mathematics
You can find Dirrell doing nothing but avoid Froch in every single round. Apart from maybe the late ones. If most of the time - nothing is happening - you have to try and score those moments of relative inactivity. And, in reality, Froch 'won' all of those moments. You can call it ring generalship but I guess we'd both be sceptical; Froch was largely outclassed and looked awful. But in these moments when less face it - Dirrell was running - Froch was 'winning.'

If fights were scored only on the punches landed we'd have a lot more runners out there. I like Froch's attitude but in the grand scheme of boxing and the bigger picture - I'm glad Dirrell lost that fight.

I'm pretty confident of an Abraham win; I think he learned his lesson in the Dirrell fight so will come out of his shell earlier and will up his activity.

Carl is strong, packs a fair punch, and has a good chin (i'm not sold on it being "granite"), so I can see him being effective against AA for at least some of the fight - he may be able to punch through the guard, out-muscle him etc - but Carl REALLY slowed in the Kessler fight (and he's hardly RJJ anyway ..), and he'll be expending more energy in this fight trying to get ahead on the cards and make his mark on Abraham.

He'll slow down and tire, Abraham will open up (if he hasn't already) and start landing bombs that Carl will take cause his defence sucks and his reactions/movements will be dulled. Abraham has lost some of his power moving up but he still carries a frankly terrifying arsenal, and I just can't see someone like Froch being able to stop Abraham landing those killer shots.

I see Carl having a lead on the scorecards for the first few, AA opens up and wins the rounds from then on, and stops Carl a couple of rounds later.

wow, seems like a spoiled brat a bit if you ask me. doesn't froch know not to leave it in the judges hands?????

froch should'nt put that kind of pressure on himself, as well as paint himself into a corner with comments like that, because people will hold that to him if he does lose, even if it was close or he was robbed.

all i know is, froch is exciting and makes good fights, it's just sad to see how hard a academic loss has effected him......... i thought he was tougher than that.......?

Nay, the original terms were, if froch beats kessler then the Abraham vs Froch fight goes to England, if he loses to kessler then it goes to Germany. So the fight goes to Germany. Abraham wouldn't mind fighting in England but because British fans are most violent and hostile fans, especially when they get their brains liquored, then the real fight begins. Abraham just came out of a detroit violent hostility, he doesn't need another dramma. Abraham is more effective when he retains his calmness and compulsion. When he faces hostility he takes it personally then he loses his rhythm and goes for destruction.
