Mandatory 10-9.5 rounds if the Judge really had a hard hard time scoring the round.

scoring 10-9 for a fighter for a round he clearly deserves is fine but it should be 10-9.5 if he barely wins it.

    sample :

Fighter A clearly wins round 1

    Fighter A : 10
    Fighter B : 9

Round 2 was a give and take affair and its hard to score. The judge favors fighter B by a tiny tiny bit

    Fighter A : 9.5
    Fighter B : 10

    ====================

    Score after 2 rounds :

    Fighter A 19.5
    Fighter B 19

    Just a wild thought lol

      I would change right away:

1-Same day weight-ins= with that, everyone would fight at their real weight class without rehydratation advantages.

2-Less sanctioning bodies= I know it's impossible at this point but it would be great just to have 4 major belts for division and the Ring belt, no more interim, regional, super, emeritus champions.

3-Instant Replay= I know it would be tricky but it would be great especially to determine if a cut was caused by a punch or a headbutt (Cintron/Martinez mess comes to mind).

4-Banning mediocre judges= This is very important, judges like Doug Tucker shouldn't be allowed to judge a fight again, I've seen enough robberies to hesitate about this.

and die in the ring from dehydration......if u are so dreid out u are rehydrating up to 165 or 170 after weighing in at 147 (using WW as an example) and you are facing a guy like Mayweather or Pac who can eat and drink to thier hearts content...........is it really a disadvantage???

there is a reason the weigh ins got moved back in the first place........

I got your point, but let's face it some fighters gain 10 pounds or even more for the fight, remember Gatti/Camache? It was that fair?

Yes my friend, look at Soto/Lorenzo or Bradley/Campbell as an example. Referees are too stubborn sometimes.

the current system with weights is ok IMO.....i'm more worried about

                  - corrupt/inept judging
                  - hometown bias/decisions
                  - lax PED testing.

instant replay to determine if a cut is from a butt or punch is a good one though........

Yeah bro, the judging must be addressed for yesterday, it sucks and is hurting boxing.
