The January 1992 edition of KO mag had their top 25 Middleweight's of the previous 25 years. Toney, Eubank, Benn, Nunn etc all featured (Carlos Monzon was number one, Hagler number two). You see Toney on the front cover bottom left and Eubank on the front cover bottom right They make out that Eubank was kind of a legend in the making sort of thing.

Thomas Hearns was Marvin Hagler's toughest fight by a country mile. Iran Barkley stopped Hearns, Nigel Benn stopped Barkley, Chris Eubank stopped Benn - all in a short two-year period with all in their respective physical peaks. Eubank was never troubled at 160-lbs and we believe that he has the tools to live with anybody in the division, he has been offered the chance to fight Reggie Johnson for the vacant WBA title and has also been offered a match-up with WBC champion Julian Jackson - they both look to be winnable fights for him. He is unbeaten and posesses unique talent with his self-styled robotic movements and charisma on top of that, so we feel that this guy deserves a mention right here and now seeing as he may have a bright future if he drops back down to 160-lbs. - Knockout magazine

i say Eubank by late kayo, i think its a very even fight until Eubank being the bigger puncher and stronger fighter lands a big right

Make up you ****ing mind Jefe....Nunn would never be beaten easily in his prime by anyone...so why say Eubank easily???

Have you seen Chris Eubank fight or are you one of those 16 year olds on this site that has discovered boxrec and become an overnight expert.

Hey Juyju or whatever your name is...I like a lot of brtish fighters and at least you are open to the fact that the fight could go either way...which it easily could...but don't take such offense when someone suggests that you would swallow Eubanks cum or any other great fighters cum from across the pond. You have to roll with the punches and as much as you post about the Europeans you have to be prepared...get some thicker skin or go to the globa section...trust me I am giving you solid advice.

By the way if we are talking about fighters primes I will take Mike McCallum over both Nunn and Eubank, it is just too bad that everyone was scared to death of the body snatcher until he got a bit older...he kiind of suffered from Joe Walcott syndrome.

It's been said "McCallum had the talent but Leonard got the publicity". I think McCallum and Herol Graham were avoided like the ****ing plague by Hagler/Hearns. They were avoided for so many years that they had to fight eachother in the end. Watch the McCallum-Graham fight in 89, now THAT is what world-class boxing is all about.

You can't go wrong with any Body Snatcher fight especially the fights that took place in the 80's...I hated watching him fight Toney, it was not the same guy.

and even though he was 'past it' by 92, he beat Toney twice!

No doubt that Mike was past his prime but he did not beat Toney twice...you can easily make the case he won the first fight but the second fight...he lost and was a complete shell of himself.

Disagee. McCallum won the first two fights he had with Toney.

Pre-Toney Nunn outboxes Eubank to a 12 round unanimous decision. At 168, Eubank drops Nunn once and wins a close decision.
