    what?

i said, "mayweather said this **** 3 months ago," and ppl are acting like he's just saying it now, after pacquiao agrees to the 14-day cutoff.

my point is, mayweather said in FEBRUARY, this time around, he'd request testing UP UNTIL THE DAY OF THE FIGHT.

in other words, top rank NOW agreeing to 14 days, still leaves everybody at square 1.

FACT: The 14 day cut-off date was negotiated back in Dec. to Pacquiao by Floyds team...

FACT: Team Pacquiao declined that offer due their stance on a 24-day cut off date

TODAYS NEWZ: Team Pac is willing to now except the original 14day cuttoff

No news on Mayweathers response as of yet.. but if Floyd does not except that offer the whos really ducking who CAUSE THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE IS TO SEE IF PAC IS PED'S which he is willing to comply with these tests...

Now if Pac said, take your test and shove it up your ass, then we should wonder....

fact is, top rank killed the fight, due to the drug testing, and arum later admitted he never even notified pacquiao of the 14-day offer.

in february, mayweather said, that offer wouldn't be on the table anymore, along with the 50-50 split, if mayweather-mosley did better numbers than pacquiao's fight.

        choose 1, pacquiao-cotto or pacquiao-clottey, mayweather-mosley did better numbers.....

now top rank is willing to accept the old deal, so we should start wondering now, what the problem was in the first place.

but like you said, we should wait, b/c mayweather has yet to respond, but if he's true to his word, we know what his response will be.

I dont think he wants to fight a southpaw in his prime, i think hell wait it out until pacquiao turns 40?
When Mayweather tried to secure a fight with Mosley in 2006 and Mosley turned it down, but changed his mind a year later, Mayweather said he was no longer interested in fighting Mosley. When Cotto turned down a Mayweather fight at 140, but then called Mayweather out at 147, Mayweather said he was no longer interested in the fight. After Ricky Hatton turned down a Mayweather fight three times before he actually developed some balls and decided he wanted the fight, Mayweather initially said he wasn't interested in the fight because he was retired (of course he later changed his mind and made the fight). The one thing that all these situations had in common is that Mayweather stated that he did not want the fight and did not engage in negotiations.

Yet with Manny Pacquaio, he engages in two months of negotiations and asks for random drug tests because, according to the Pac worshippers, Mayweather doesn't want the fight? And now that Pac has agreed to the 14-day cutoff for tests after Mayweather said it is no longer on the table, all of a sudden, Mayweather will refuse Pac's generous offer because he doesn't want the fight?

Can you and the other clowns on this site who post these ridiculous threads not see how ******ed and void of logic your statements are? If Mayweather didn't want the fight, he would have simply said "I am not interested in the fight' instead of wasting his time negotiating the fight. I know that you and the other clowns on this site and Ronnie Nathanielz and Larry Merchant can't see this, but anyone with an IQ above 50 can.

If the 14day cutoff isnt good enough for Team Floyd then its obvious who really doesnt wanna fight... cause with Team Pac agreeing to these test clearly states that he is interested..

And Pac was interested since the negotiations began back in Dec. Its Floyd who through in this loophole now which Pac refused to bend over...

ppl are acting like this is some **** he just brought up, and is gonna use it to kill the fight, when it was said 3 months ago.....

THANK YOU... Im surprised people dont see this sh#$.. Thats where it really fell apart and who through in the road block to begin with? Hmmmm

The negotiations were going fine til these OSDT test came about..

So with Pac agreeing to 14days, it simply states hes willing to comply and prove he is not juicing.. That alone tells you he wants this fight..

you 2 are mistaken. the OST's were in the contract from the beginning. top rank didn't make it a big deal, until after everything else had been agreed to.

mayweather wanted OST's up until the fight, top rank wanted them to stop 24 days out, then mayweather conceded 14-days, which arum never notified manny about, but instead called the fight off.

mayweather then signed to fight shane, and said, in FEBRUARY, depending on the numbers for his fight, he wouldn't be willing to negotiate a cutoff date next time, and he wouldn't do a 50-50 either.

this was in FEBRUARY, and as we all know, floyd's fight on may 1st did better than ANY of pacquiao's fights (except dlh, which it tied).

so it stands to reason, floyd is going to want testing up until the day of the fight now....so top rank wants the original deal, all of a sudden.

                  come on guys.

There have been no official statements and no official negotiations. To make comments and claims like this is simply ignorant.
