Everybody: Stop quoting what Floyd said about no cut off date. (Here is why)

Everyone forgets the interview that Bob Arum had only a week or two ago.

In which he specifically said: "Before I was not sure that Floyd wanted to make the fight.. but he seems to be much more serious about making the fight, so I think we can make it happen"

Remember, this is BOB ARUM... saying that FLOYD.. is much more serious now.

Floyd may have just been popping off at the mouth when 2 or 3 months ago he said no more cut off date.

But, the fact is... is that Arum, and Schaeffer (who represents Floyd) HAVE been discussing Floyd-Pac again.

And what Arum has been hearing back from Schaeffer/Floyd.. is that they are in fact serious about making the fight.

And again... this is from ARUMS own mouth... about FLOYD.

So forget everyone saying Floyd won't accept 14 days...

The last time he said that was months ago... but just RECENTLY, Arum said things are looking more serious.

So everyone please calm the hell down... and just wait and see what happens.

If there is ever a time to trust Arums word... it's when he is actually giving CREDIT, to Floyd.

Sorry for not treating Bob Arum's word as the Gospel.

      Only when it's convenient, right?

And Bob Arum would be the FIRST one to tell everyone that Floyd is scared of Pacquiao, if that's what he believed.

I don't believe anything from Team Pac.

Didn't Roach say last week the fight is a done deal?

          That's what people keep forgetting.

If there is ever a time you can trust Arum..

Is when he is actually CREDITING FLOYD MAYWEATHER.

Not that I have heard/read of... Schaefer even said this last week.

Schaefer said that, contrary to information given by trainer Freddie Roach Monday, talks to stage the fight that will challenge Mayweather-De La Hoya's 2.45 million buys, Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao, are not likely to begin this week.

"Unless Freddie is talking to himself, Floyd is off taking a well-deserved rest," Schaefer said. "When the time comes, we will discuss what's next for Floyd Mayweather, but nobody from our side is going to be talking publicly at all about dates, sites, anything to do with that fight. All this talking, talking, talking is how [negotiations] ended last time."

Bob also said that he and his team wouldn't negotiate through the public, but that's exactly what they're doing now..Déjà vu anyone?

Because both sides have agreed not to goto the press about negotiating, I think this was Richards way of saying.. we aren't talking... even though we are.

Otherwise why would Arum give Floyd credit?

                    Why?

He would never do that, unless even HE though it was true.
