I think you are misssing the point that obviously the blood test isn't the attraction its the fight thats the attraction so why in the world does the test evern matter at this point lets just get the fight and shut the *** up about the deatails. Just as long as the damn thing happens!!!!

What you fail to understand is that Floyd is in the position of power now. Floyd has already taken the USADA testing. So there isn't really anything to negotiate about. That battle is won. If Manny refuses to take anything but random testing, he will be the cause of the fight not happening. public opinion is so far in Floyd's favor right now, Pac has no choice. Floyd could ask for a little more than 50/50 and be justified, his PPV #'s are better than Pac, period, no rationales or reasoning. All the pac fans can pretend that he has a lot bargaining power but he doesn't, he certainly has less than he had at the prior negotiation. This fight will be the largest payday he has ever had.

It will be Mannys and FLoyd largest Payday, not just mannys, dont say it like manny has nothing to do with it.

And Hold up, public opinion is in mannys favor not floyds, its Boxingscene opinion thats in FLoyds favor but definitly not the general publics.....did you not read the post that stated like 72% of peopel thought Floyd was at fualt?

Now that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to the 14 days deadline for blood test that was mandated by Floyd during the negotiation last year..."hopefully" the fight the world likes to see will happen this year. The Mayweathers threw in so many roadblocks to prevent this fight to take place just for the main reason that Floyd can not overcome his fear of the Pacman, but after Shane Mosley's loss Floyd might have gathered a little courage. I won't be surprise if chicken Floyd and his advisers will try to throw in new demands to prevent this fight of great magnitude to come into being. They might come up demanding the newly elected congressman from Sarangani province Pacquiao, Emmanuel Dapidran (PED) to climb the ring with no pants...or other unimaginable excuses to avoid this big event to take place.

Floyd's Wish is Granted!

Floyd ALWAYS talked about playing on an even level his whole career. BUT, for some reason, he never actually requested specifically random blood test till the day of the fight UNTIL the whole mayweather-pacquiao talks began. Something about this little Filipino dude scares MAYWEATHER. PAC says he'll fight, then mayweather draws the "i want blood tests" card. Now PAC says he'll do the 14-day as mayweather requested. Now let's see what card MAYWEATHER will draw this time.

This is nothing but a PR move people. Mayweather said after in the postfight interview of the Mosley fight that Pac would have to submit to the USADA testing program. That program doesn't consist of any cutoff date. And I believe during the Mayweather-Mosley promotion that he said there would be no cutoff in the future. Pac agreeing to 14 days, after Mayweather has said that won't be acceptable is basically meaningless. Its just another way to get the mass public back on Pac's end of the debate. Mayweather will take a PR hit if he doesn't accept, but so what. He took a PR hit for not fighting Mosley. Then, he took another one for beating his ass. So at this point, PR hits are irrelevant when it comes to Money May. No USADA testing, no fight. Its simple.

BTW, why didn't Pac accept this back in Jan when it was the proposal on the table? Does no one find it at all curious that its acceptable now that Mayweather has clearly said he would no longer accept this?

Screw it. Let mayweather call his bluff then. Let this happen If Mayweather really wants it.

Last time I checked, the 14 cut off was brought up after Manny walked away from the negotiating table and started to make the Clottey fight instead. People keep saying Manny walked away from 14 days which is not true. He walked away from 24 and when he already was gone, the Mayweather's brought up the 14 day thing. These writers need to get that straight...
