I have been pretty easy on Vitali, I even defend him most of the time! But if he is not fighting, Brewster, Byrd, Rahman, Toney, or Ruiz in his next fight-- he should just abdicate the throne, because he clearly is not here to fight. I think he is probably the most talented heavyweight of the crop, but fighting Danny Williams, Cory Sanders, Kirk Johnson, etc, etc, etc, has just got to stop! There are only so many hyped up but really fat heavyweights out there, so I figured sooner or later he would fight one of the afore mentioned decent guys just by process of elimination! But Oleg would just be crossing the line! I appreciate that he was recently injured and needs a tune-up in his mind, but the guy's entire post Lennox career has been one long tune-up! And that was not even a fight that he won! So Vitali, for the love of god, make a good fight already!

I'd like to see him fight Toney. And if somehow Wlad can get in with Byrd, then maybe the Klit Bros will realize their dream and be done with it. Or better yet, then Vit fights Rock and Wlad fights Brewster, and The Pretender goes into unending ******s trying to figure out which Klit his boy can lick! LOL!!

I think the Pretender got banned from here; I haven't seen him for awhile.

After months of speculation, injuries, and excuses on Vitali's next opponent, here we are today still having the same discussion/arguments on his next opponent. So, as fans of the heavyweight division and boxing in general, who do you(the fan) want to see Vitali fight next?

I know that he is already retired but the only one that truly deserves a title shot is Lennox Lewis. Yes he technically already beat klitschko, but we all know that klitschko was winning the fight. If vitali can work on his defense he would KO lewis before he gets cut again. Lewis is probably the best HW champ in about 15 years and the man that everyone is so busy talkin **** on is the only one in the 10 years to actually put a whoopin on lewis. Yes mccall and rahman knocked him out but its not like they were winning. VK is the only one to do that to lennox ever really. So LL needs to come out of retirement and face the only man left out there in my eyes has beat him.

                Put down the bong.

There is no such thing as winning before you lose.

Klitschko LOST to Lewis. Period. He sustained massive damage to his face.

It's LAUGHABLE you talk about Lewis getting a woopin in that fight when Vitali LOST because his face ended up getting 'whooped' into a bloody pulp:

Talking like Vitali won that fight makes you look really ******.

IMO Lewis will never come out of retirement to fight again. I read maybe 3-4 months ago that Lewis was offered an obscene amount of money($15+ million, help me guys if you know the exact figure) and turned it down, saying he was comfortable being retired and making "Red Stripe Beer" commercials.

vk lost, but he gave as good as he got.... the face doesn't always tell the story... going by their faces, you'd think lewis was killing him and way ahead in the fight... i cant recall lewis ever being cut or bleeding....

                      It's simple.

Both fighters elected to slug it out, and take shots to give shots. Lewis landed 50% of his power punches, and CLEARLY being the bigger more powerful puncher, that resulted in the condition of Vitali's face causing him to lose. Vitali and his camp claim he was never known to cut before. In the Lewis fight, he sustained 5 seperate cuts for 80 - 100 stitches, the one above his eye being right down to the bone.

He LOST the fight. It still blows me away when I see people that can't accept it, or feel the need to point out Vitali was up 2 points on the score cards in a fight that only went 6 rounds because it was stopped via TKO.
