Maskaev says he wants Vitali... Vitali has said nothing about Maskaev.
You idiots....

Moments ago Vitali Klitschko's advisor Shelly Finkel responded to our interview with Dan Goossen by basically telling us that Goossen was full of it. At first Team Klitschko offered Toney 35% of the pot, only to have Goossen and Toney respond by demanding parity on **********. Finkel explained that after Toney demanded 50-50 Team Klitschko offered Toney a $3M guarantee with a bonus if the fight took place for the WBC title. "When they came up with the 50-50, I tried to find another way to get it done and e haven't heard back from them since we offered the $3M." With Toney now willing to accept 60-40 does that change anything regarding Klitschko's next fight? According to Finkel it's highly doubtful "because we're already pretty far along with the Maskaev fight." Stay tuned to ********** for all the latest.
If you can't figue out who Shelly Finkle is and what his relationship to Klitschko is, then you're on your own. I already went and pasted the article you should have gone to look for on your own.
As I told the other twit who posted the EXACT same thread you did, do your homework before making a post like this.
Go to ********** and look for the articles yourself. There are several by and about SHELLY FINKLE (Vitali's advisor) who admits several times over they are looking at Maskiev, and deep into discussions with him.
HBO has now said they will not promote this fight, so it's not happening.
Well, since Im not ****** enough to pay a website for news, why don't you link the articles you're talking about here so we can read them.
Incidentally, if what you say is true, all you can really say is that FINKLE has been talking about trying to MAYBE get a fight together. And that in no way equates to Vitali himself, who has the last word, by the way, being interested in the fight in any way.

Well I gotta say, Im gonna be pretty disappointed in Vitali if he doesnt fight the Rachman/Barrett winner. Seems to me, his status as a beltholder would compel him to do nothing else. Maybe they mean that their scheduling the Maskaev fight for AFTER the title defense?

The articles are FREE on **********.
The point is, you're the 2nd person to post this drivel, and you could have found the answer on your own if you had just taken the time to look instead of crying about it. Why should anyone post links for you when you're too lazy to look for yourself?
Finkle is PAID to represent Klitschko, and negotiate on his behalf. What you seem to be saying is that he was acting without Vitali's knowledge when they were admittedly deep into discussions with Maskiev?
Snap out of it.
Vitali's camp WAS looking at this fight, but with no backing from HBO, it's now quashed.
He seems dead set on fighting in Sept, and if that's the case, its 90% certian Rahman and Barrett won't be ready, so he's looking at other options. Thankfully, HBO doesn't seem willing to promote another Danny Williams-type defense, so he will likely fight a top fighter, or wait a month or so for the Rahman Barrett winner.
i cant say what whats going on cause i'm not in the know, but is it possible that when toney balked at the initial split for the fight, VK looked into fighting oleg, cause sept 24 would be too soon for barrett/rahman and brewster has a mandatory against kranski(spelling??)
and maybe he felt like he needed a tune up fight after 2 injuries.... i agree oleg is weak, but so was golota and fres and they got 2 title shots(3 for AG)...
