Anyway, I have seen about 5 Maidana fights, do you really think despite Khan's improvements that he won't get hit by Maidana? Why was Khan gassing in the last 2 rounds against Kotelnik. Why did he fight Kotelnik so cautiously? If he fights Kotelnik like that how will he approach Maidana?

A lot of American haven't even seen Khan fight mroe than 5 times.

They have seen Paulie.

To actually box Paulie, it is very hard. You can bully him like Cotto and Hatton, but to box? Never.

As for Limond etc.. You know full well that he is not the same fighter.

Firstly he was toned upstairs and had no legs.

Secondly you also know he had a lot of trouble making 135. He use to lose over 14lbs to make it.

As for Maidana, how amny fights have you seen?

How will he deal with Khan;s jab? He hasn't seen that speed, and dare I say it power.

He keeps his hands low.

He gets a lot fo TKO's because people war with him. He didn;t put Ortiz away, that guy quit.

When you say how will be beat Maidana are you saying it's a foregone conclusion?

Maidana is more than just a come forward face first fighter, he has a tight defence coming in. Ortiz managed to drop him because outside of Maidana himself I believe Ortiz is the hardest hitting fighter 140 and is incredibly accurate landing something like 40% of power punches on average.

All it takes is one punch from Maidana to end the fight with Khan, Khan has got better durablity than at 135, but it's still pretty bad IMO and Maidana has the ability to end almost anyones night with his fists if they get caught badly.

It's not like Maidana relies on one punch to get the job done either he throws well in combinations and makes openings, he also has power in both hands you can't just neutralise the right hand like you can against say... Pavlik, you have to neutralise his entire offense. Maidana is a VERY tough fight for Khan.

If they fight I honestly don't know who I'd pick, Khan is the far superior boxer with the better talent, he's bigger, faster, has a better jab and footwork. Maidana has power and chin over Khan. Those are big advantages over Khan. I see it going two ways, Maidana getting throughly outboxed and maybe stopped late or Khan outboxing him in spots but if he gets hurt that is the end of the fight IMO.
