I think nigel would have lost if not for Gerald problem. I think if they fought 10 times, Gerrald would probably win 7 out of 10.

Either way, Benn had a broken jaw man. Yes Paulie did too, and so did AA etc.. but Mccllen hits hard as ****.

I cant even watch this fight anymore..this is one of those fights I cringe just thinking about what happened..this and the Taylor fight is hard for me to watch...

makes me sad everytime i see it, Gman is one of my favorites of all time. benn was a beast, i forgot how hard he hit having not watched any of his fight for a while.

the worst part of rewatching the fight, knowing what happens, is, listening to pacheaco call the fight when the Gman couldn't continue, calling him a coward and having no heart.

pacheaco never apologised from what i recall, i've hated him with a passion ever since. still do for that.

He didn't know man. He didn;t know G man was seriously hurt.

This fight is just a reminder for me, often I forget that boxing is dangerous and people lose or basically have no life left.

Respect fighters because they all fight to feed their family and risk their lives.

Cant question the refs integrity or Benn's, but he was damn sure incompetent, a sick twist of fate when you think about it, on a night when McClellan needed a good ref to protect him he got a guy with no clue what he was doing, that could of been the difference between him not being in, in as bad a condition as he is in.
