Say what you want about Berto, but welterweight is wide open for him. That includes Mosley, true story. Unless of course you want to say Mike Jones will beats him. Of course, that would be after he's finished fighting all those tomato cans in Philly...

I think Cotto would still beat him.. Paul Williams would beat him too..Maybe even Mosley.. I think he should fight Zab Judah.. I actually think that would be a pretty good fight.. If Judah is actually focused...

Cotto would be a dangerous fight for Berto if he beats Foreman. I'm sure they both know they would be good opponents for each other, which is why Berto hasn't chose to fight anyone else yet. But Cotto may not want to immediate fight with Berto, since he could be dropping a full weight class, after a catchweight vs Pac. He might want a introductary fight back to welter with say Jan Zaveck, but I expect those two to be fighting soon. Paul Williams hasn't fought a welter in 2 years. Judah in his prime maybe, but he isn't prime anymore and shouldn't want anything to do with top welters. I think there's a reason why Mosley hasn't came charging outta the May loss talking about a Berto fight. I'd pick Berto over Mosley at this point, and I think a Cotto fight could be more dangerous. I'd respect if Mosley wanted to fight Berto or Cotto, but I honestly think that he should be Cory Spinks, then retire...

I would agree with your points...but... Paul keeps saying he could make 147... so i'll take his word... Judah may not be in his prime anymore but still a threat and a good name on anyones resume... And everyone though Mosely would get ****ed up by margs after the fight with mayorga cause he looked like crap in that fight..many said he showed his age... needless to say Mosely shocked the world... just something to think about...

^ To the poster above you; maybe, no, no, no.

Anyways, Paul says he can make 147, but since he's 6'3" and almost 30, I'll take that with a grain of salt. Perhaps he makes it and is as good the the 147 P Will before, in which case he beats Berto, but there's a good chance he'll be drained now at 147. If I were Zab, I just forget about welters at this point. If he were on all cyclinders mentally and physically, he'd be a good welter, but I don't see that happening anymore. He needs to get a conditioning coach and a nutritionist and go to 140. I'd rather see Berto fight Alexander than Zab. Mosley could very well beat Berto next, but I honestly wouldn't favor that happening. Berto's the much younger, more energetic fighter, and Mosley know that would be a tough fight for him, hense why he hasn't talked up a Berto fight since May 1. Honestly, I think he'll just fight Cory Spinks and retire a champ, but we'll see.

It all depends on style for Mosley. If you put someone who will stay right in front of Mosley, then he'll look 28 instead of 38.

                  Not really...

Mike Jones and Antwone Smith are the future of that division.

Also Ortiz, Alexander, Bradley and Khan will grow into that division.

You know... i have this feeling that Cotto will try to take Spinks on after Yuri.. And if he wins he has 2 belts at 154.. if that happens thats his barganing chip for a rematch with Pac to get his revenge.. I say Cotto fights Spinks next... just a thought...
