In the last couple of years, Pacquiao has been achieving many things as he went up in weight.
Why is Roach an idiot ? Because he discredits Pacquiao's opponents before he fights them. Then, when Pacquiao beats them and that people start to measure the importance of the win and use the exact same points Roach used to break down Pacquiao's opponents, he acts like an offended ****** and says : ''You don't want to give Pacquiao credit''.
First example : De la Hoya. Prior to the fight, Roach was telling to anyone who would listen that Oscar couldn'T PULL the trigger anymore, that he was washed-up, finished. Then Pacman stops him. People start saying Oscar was drained and that he was not the same as in the Mayweather fight. Roach the offended ****** then came out : ''Why is it people say Oscar wasn't good, why can't people say Pacquiao won because he's good''. That idiot admitted prior to the fight Oscar was finished, then he doesn't want to hear that Oscar was lethargic and couldn't pull the trigger in the fight.
The truth is that both are true : Oscar was a dead man walking and Pacquiao was great using movement and angles.
It happened with Cotto too. Roach was very vocal about the beatings Miguel took and how it affected him. Then after the fight, he wouldn't dare repeat his own words.
Same thing is happening now with Mayweather. Roach has been very vocal lately, stating that Floyd is only an average fighter at 147, that he has lost his legs and that Pacquiao will knock him out.
If it does happen, guess what ? People will recuperate Roach's own quotes and say ''Floyd was not the same, he was passed it, he had no legs, he was not the same since coming back to boxing after the 2 years lay-off''. Again, Roach will react like the offended ****** when in fact he will have been the one who diminished the importance of a win over Mayweather in the first place.
I think Roach needs to settle down a bit, he's been way too big mouthed recently, he's even threatening to smack the opponent's trainers, he's embarrassing himself and his fighter.
