I understand what you're saying. Boxing in Puerto Rico is huge. No matter where you go, boxing is always a topic. And they aren't just fans of Puerto Rican boxers, they follow a fighter no matter where they're from. There are several boxing gyms around and many trainers willing to help. Whenever there's a boxing event scheduled, bars, clubs, restaurants and baseballs parks (with projector screens) are filled with people to watch a fight. Boxing has always been big in Puerto Rico and there are many up and coming boxers to look out for in the near future...
Why arent their great Puerto Rican-American boxers?

Yeah but you don't consider them American do you?
It's not a state techinically, but it's not a country.
It's a commonwealth which is an odd case because it was part of the American "empire" but isn't anymore much like the British Commonwealth, i mean Singapore is a british Commonwealth and a seperate country but only has a population of about 5 Million.
India is an English commonwealth and has a pop of 1.2 Billion, so by defination it's not "part" of America nor is it completely seperate but thet aren't Americans...Comment
