Leonard vs Hagler- who won?

In Fight Night Round 4, Teddy Atlas says that Hagler was winning the fight but that Leonard was winning them judges over by unloading at the final seconds of each round.

I thought Hagler edged it, But I'm a Marvin nut hugger and hater Leonard tbh.

There's a thread about this fight every other month noob. This fight along with Chavez-Taylor and Lewis-Vitali is among those most discussed.


Topic: I've seen this fight at least 20 times. I've never been able to score it for Hagler.

It's been done to death and all it does is bring out the clueless newbs who think by commenting on a fight that took place over twenty years ago somehow gives them credibility as a true fan of the sport,that's why.



That said,Leonard schooled Hagler and sent him into a isolation,depression and caused the downall of Hagler's marriage.

Seen Leonard-Hagler 3 times myself and I agree with Larry Merchant's view on the outcome of the fight.

Leonard. Hagler lost too many early rounds and he didn't sweep all of the late rounds.
