What if Povetkin ducks Wlad as well? I('ll) say fuck him, too.

I'd like to see Wlad stay busy this summer and fight Povetkin. He can then fight Haye or whoever else in the fall.

But if Atlas still deems Povetkin to not be "ready" (and basically ducks a now 2-year mandatory period), who on earth can Wlad fight? :conf3:

Sam Peter is next in line after Povetkin.

Hmm. In which case, that could be a decent rematch if a similarly hungry (in the context of fighting!) Peter from '05 shows up.

Better than Wlad having to wait around doing nothing for another 9 months.

Atlas may want him to wait, but his promoter and manager said last week they want him to fight Wladimir now.

And there are several other potential opponents: someone already mentioned IBF #2 Peter, and then there's Adamek and maybe WBO #2 ranked Tua.

Peter and Tua would be good fights, but there's a part of me which doesn't want Adamek in there with him just yet - even though he'd get a deservedly good payday. I like him too much to see him get beaten down by the Steelhammer at this early point in his HW career.

                      Better match ups possible

Would rather see Haye v. Adamek in the A.C. anyway. Its one of the best action fights that could be made in boxing and would make a raucous scene with all the polish fans in Jersey and the Brits who could make the short hop across the pond getting together. Klitschko fights, to steal a line from Robin Williams, "are as boring as whale ****!"
