What happens if Mayweather suddenly wants to fight on the inside, and tries to use his leverage, and weight to lean on Manny, and rip body shots, as well as head shots?

I'm not saying that he would do this because doing this might give Pacquiao a chance to land combos on Mayweather. I am merely curious as to what you guys think would happen in this situation.

Manny isn't a good inside fighter and Floyd's inside fighting is a bit underrated.

As a serious aside I don't think I've ever seen Pacquiao fight dirty on the inside. He's an in-out midrange guy. There's a lot of thing's to knowing how to fight on the inside such as not crowding your punches.

I also remember around the time Floyd fought Hatton, where Hatton said if Floyd tried to fight him on the inside he's dead. Hatton got dominated on the inside

Honestly Floyd would have the advantage if this was the case.

Pac's weird angles, if consdered, needed space for them to land, he's gonna have a hard time throwing them up close.

Floyd is overlooked as an inside fighter but is apparently good at that as well.

Roach is not ******. He knows this. He knows Pac's defense is his amazing movement, not his slipping punches. He also knows that fighting on the inside makes the southpaw-advantage of Pac much less relevant. He also knows that right now (that Hopkins, Toney and Castilllo are old) Mayweather is the best active inside fighter.

Pac's gameplan won't involve actively looking for fighting on the inside, if anything he will use his incredibly fast feet to move away from the possibility. I think he will succeed in this as I can't think of too many ways in which Mayweather can get up close, without eating big leather on the way in (right now I can only think about shooting a right counter and then grabbing Manny).

I expect this fight to be fought mostly outside-to-midrange.
