Paulie Stopped Twice by11th Rd TKO

Truth is his fight with Cotto should of been stopped period how that went 12 I dont know, but Paulie's lack of power is why I think they stop it, he has a useless offense, he really should quit boxing

I hate to admit it but yes he should, it is unbelievably dangerous for him to get in there when he is really not on a level playing field with world class athletes in the ring. Its not like he is just not a big puncher but really has nothing at all to hold any really good fighter in his weight class off.

Still props to him for getting this far being at such a huge disadvantage.

Khan threw jabs and Paulie couldn't stop it, no pull counter, no inside game, no body attack, no check hook, no nothing, all Paulie got is a flicking jab. Time to call it a day Paulie, U R done.

I think he could still beat someone like Soto, who is talking about stepping to 140.

Paulie isn't good enough to beat the very best, but there are still some good fighters he could defeat and get paid well for facing.

The main concern is whether or not he feels past his prime and if his heart is no longer in it. It seems like that's the case and if so then he should step away. He may well be able to succeed as a trainer.

Thing is we've seen Paulie in 3 fights were he's had nothing to offer his opponents, he did 0 damage to Cotto, Hatton, or Khan. He'd make a great sparring partner though, durable and safe.

in the cotto fight he won a good few rounds, i pretty impressed with that performance considering what a beast cotto was at that time, that was prob one of, if not, his best performances, but to say he had nothing to offer is unfair.

He won at least 4 (arguably 5) rounds of the Cotto fight, and actually staggered Cotto at one point.

I call paulie a 'world-class gate keeper' meaning hes only going to get beat by the very best

He could still beat some of the guys out there, not sure if he wants to bother though

He could still beat several guys but he doesn't want to be a stepping stone.

It's likely he will retire. At the very most he will give it one more try.
