Sure, for Adamek there are many young top-rated guys to fight (if these young guys have balls to agree for that). But for Holyfield it is one more "last chance" to get the title shot next. I don't believe that he can win, but if...

For Adamek it can be a good tune up fight. Holyfield is rated #22 at boxrec.

For the record, I am against this fight.

That said, from Adamek's end it's not entirely non-understandable. This would essentially be a high profile stay-busy fight while Adamek waits for bigger things. In addition, a fight like this would be big in Poland, given Holyfields name recognition.

Bit of a step down from Arreola at this stage.

Though if Holyfield really needs the money and has to fight a top HW, Adamek is one of the safer choices.

This is scandalous to be honest. Holyfield made Valuev look foolish but a smaller, quicker man is going to give him a beating at this stage, a beating he doesn't need to take at 48 years of age. You may say he has a chance, but there's always going to be a chance. The chance is not worth the risk.

I have no problem with Holyfield going on a senior tour fighting the likes of Francois Botha and other old men, he's still in great shape for his age and can defend himself, but he has no business being in there against a top 10 contender. Botha landed an alarming amount of punches on him, imagine how easy a target Adamek will find him.

It's going to be a sad show when it happens.
