i just saw the wbo rankings holy **** lol
1 Pov (no problem with that one)
2 TUA WTF????
3 Adamek.
Tua v Adamek, that would get him a name, and a rankings position as mandatory after wlad beats Pov.Comment

I'd like to see you in with that "fossil". No quitting. Fight!
Damn you'd look like such a dumb **** in there.
Anyways... Holyfield may be pretty old, but he at least took care of himself, unlike Gollota, for example. I'm for this fight, as long as there isn't anything real bad happening...Comment

Clay was an up and comer and a prospect at that time, so it didn't really matter. Tomasz Adamek has very little reason to fight Holyfield when there is better competition out there. This is a step down for Adamek and if he does fight Holyfield I hope he gets paid peanuts. And lets not forget Holyfield is no longer a name anymore, so he won't get paid as much.
Well, Archie Moore was about the same age as Holyfield when he fought Cassius Clay.
It would not gain Adamek credit, but it might raise his profile, and I'd like to see him finally have a deserved good payday.
People wont be able to rag on him for fighting old men, because he just fought prime Arreola and Estrada.
There is plenty of competition for Adamek; Chambers, Samuel Peter, Odlanier Solis, etc.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 05-18-2010, 02:46 AM.Comment

No disrespect to Holyfield (who is a true warrior), but I have to think Ademek looses fans respect with this fight even if he wins. I say "if" cause Evander can still **** and you never know what could happen. Seems like Thomas is looking to take advantage of speed and target the slower heavyweights. If this fight happens I'm pulling for Holy.Comment

Please no that would be terrible. The new kid on the heavyweight block, Tomasz Adamek, could be in the market for a clash with former undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield. The near 48-year-old Holyfield came back to the ring in April to knock Francois Botha out in eight rounds. Many believe he was robbed of a win against then WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev in 2008. [Click Here To Read More]Comment
