First off it was a great performance against a b-level fighter..

The hype has to do with likability. He has what it takes to be a star. Thats what the hype is.

He also showed he is highly skilled along with that. Only time will tell if it plays out.

khan is faster than floyd ... all he lacked was the proper coach if floyd waits that long to fight khan khan will probably end up knocking him out in round 1 .. and he has no problems with blood tests. and he's signed with golden boy. this fight can happen !!!

Against floyd, if they fought right now -- Khan would have a decent three to four rounds, then get picked apart and ultimately dismantled in the states or in the UK. Under Freddie's watch, that ain't happinin' anytime soon. At least not until Freddie sees how badly Floyd does against Pacquiao if that fight ever happens.

Khan has good boxing skills, and he's young, and has room for improvement. But to say he's "faster" than Floyd on account of Khan vs Malignaggi is taking it a bit too far.

You have to realize that none of these boxers actually had any sort of power when they fought Khan

The only reason Khan can be the 140 King is because he has p4p the fastest hands in boxing. When Speed and Power join hands through air and smack a fighter straight in the face, you get respect. The chin will always be suspect, but if he carry's on improving his defence we got ourselves a truely great fighter.
