The first time I noticed Morales was slipping was when he fought Jesus Chavez. A dominating performance but the hands were no longer as fast and definitely the legs, even though he was in against an injured opponent. I've always been a huge fan of Morales, from his title-winning effort against Zaragoza (with Floyd Mayweather on the undercard!) to that sad performance against Diaz. And I saw noticeable slippage against Chavez.

But, I also think Pac did improve after that fight. Is not taking credit away from Morales though.

And, I don't think Morales was shot the first time they fought. I do think he was at the down slide of his career. And, had ONE last great fight in him. Like a lot of great fighters have.
Ive seen a bunch of pac fanatics say he lost because he was blood drained not because he got outboxxed

You know, someone could say the same thing about Roy Jones from Ruiz to Tarver. That's what making and losing weight can do.

Just a question for the Pacquiao cult members

Why did he rematch Morales instead of fighting the man who had dominated Morales (Raheem) and why did he feel the need to make Morales come down in weight instead of fighting him at 135?

When he lost to Raheem, what was the first thing you thought (if you can remember)?

That was the whole issue with the Floyd thing and the cutoff date. A few weeks after the fight. Pac was on a show on the Philippines and said that he felt he lost cuz he gave blood too soon to the fight.

The majority of Pac fans who bring this up. Is that they're saying Pac in his mind thinks he lost to EM due to giving blood so soon to the fight. And, that is why wanting a cutoff date for OST.

Now before my boy(Dazed) comes at me and get at this subject. I am not saying Pac is right. I am just saying what he said and what his fans are perceiving.

Was that excuse theirs already until the video and confirmation that Manny's blood sample was lost by NSAC and had to draw some more, one day before the fight with El Terrible? Just a question, I don't really know what these were all about.

Coz for me, no matter what the excuses are, even if it came indeed from Pac himself, EM beat him convincingly at that. Wether he's blood drained, sockless groovy, etc. Morales was the better guy, and props to him!

No one likes to answer that question.

I remember midway through the fighting thinking, "what....the...****..."

He had a bad night. It happens to many boxers.

Are u saying he was "shot" just six months after beating Pac?
