Joe may not beat prime Roy but he's underrated by many.

Interesting belief, Joe was real good at his thing maximizing while completely disrupting the other guy.

          All while throwing arm punches~

I don't agree but it could certainly be debated as that was among Joe's best attributes.

fighting the majority of his career against European tomatoecans doesn't make him smarter.

Not all people that throw punches are ****** up stairs, Joe took people's style and worked it against them. Floyd has defense to do all that. Joe had alright defense.

I like Joe but against Reid he started off very well early and couldn't avoid rights hands from him again and again as the fight went on.

Floyd is a first ballot Hall of Famer. Joe is not. Period, end of discussion.

Everyone has that fighter. Ask Floyd about Castillo and Augustus about his defense. Joe starts and usually by the end of the fight he adapts,

Tbh Calzaghe was figuring out Hopkins. Hopkins went through every trick he could including prolonging how hurt his low blow was.

As for Bika? calzaghe won every round. It was ugly but he won.

floyd is smarter for sure, but calzaghe has underrated skills. He has good ring generalship and that helped him win.

His lack if power (even in his prime he didnt have ko power) and slaps were bad points.

Floyd is too smart but over his opponents, his has physical advantages too.
