calzaghe is a true thinking mans fighter. here he is thinking how come i can't hit this guy? oh well i'm so smart i will just pretend i'm hitting him and the judges will give me the fight.

i dont really think u can put joe infront of floyd, calzaghe was good in the ring and made adjustments but he never really did it against prime top level fighters (i am a fan of joe went 2 his last 3 fights)

As for Bika? calzaghe won every round. It was ugly but he won.

floyd is smarter for sure, but calzaghe has underrated skills. He has good ring generalship and that helped him win.

His lack if power (even in his prime he didnt have ko power) and slaps were bad points.

Floyd is too smart but over his opponents, his has physical advantages too.
        figuring out that missing=winning

every round? the bika fight was super close. calzaghe held and spoiled the entire fight. according to you calzaghe only beat hopkins because hopkins did the same thing(punches and defense don't matter) but since you aren't consistent you have calzaghe winning every round against bika. hilarious. calzaghe was dead tired and clearly lost the last 3 to 4 rounds. how could he win every round? calzaghe even "faked" low blows in the 12th to gain a rest just like hopkins. oh well that doesn't matter because when calzaghe does it it's different. he's smart and hopkins is a dirty cheat!

i agree tht the bika fight wasnt a complete shut out n i believe in tht fight bika had 2 points taken off. as for the hopkins fight i think u score it on what
u like calzaghe was throwing a lot (and missing) n hopkins landed the better punches. If they would have faced each other earlier in there career's hopkins would of won

That's right....when you bring up the name Floyd....Joe Calzaghe is the kind of fighters that are mentioned.

Floyd is smarter because he dominates his opponents with selective shots. Joe on the other hand will pull that W by his acivity alone.

i think you should score it based on the rules not on what you like and since the rules say nothing about missing being a scoring criteria shouldn't hopkins win? missing and chasing a guy around the ring without being able to hit him is the opposite of ineffective aggression and we know hopkins easily won the clean punches and defense categories. oh well hbo got their calzaghe-jones ppv fight that everyone loved. that's all that matters. hitting your opponent is so old school and outdated.

i actually had hopkins winning (by 2) but im sure calzaghe landed more punches on hopkins than any other fighter
