i dont think he needs to win a round to score a vicious knockout, which could very well happen.

maidana is sloppy but hes a threat and while kahn talks about it, he has to be about it, these last three opponents have honestly been decent in rebuilding himself, but its been 3 fights, time to fight a true puncher, or the top of the division.

But actually he can be right speaking of this situation, Khan's speed will win him the rounds. But all Maidana needs to do is trap him in a corner or against the ropes and it's all over for Mr. Chiny Chin.
It would be better than a Ortiz-Maidana rematch.

Atleast we know Khan doesnt quit, he just goes to sleep which is far more entertaining.

Maybe true, but Maidana wouldn't be looking to win rounds. The question isn't can Khan beat Maidana, yes, he can, but can he take it when Maidana is landing, which he would.

Maidana is not Paulie, Khan was cautious till he felt Paulie couldn't hurt him. Maidana doesn't have to win rounds, all he has to do is keep pressuring as he does. Khan has the skills to beat him but wint Maidana's power he won't be so offensive as he was with Paulie he will really be forced to box much more.

Maidana does not need to win any round. All he has to do is place one good shot at that glass chin and crack it!

I don't disagree with Freddie Roach's assessment. If Khan fights with more smarts and less heart then he shuts out Maidana easily; Who is much slower than Paulie. In the past what got Khan in trouble so often was his willingness to slug it out and trade flat-footed with his opponents.

With his ring ****iness and arrogance being his own undoing. Now Freddie Roach is slowly beginning to change all of that with this new boxing style; Especially with his defense, where he is getting hit much less than before.

He is transforming Khan into the complete boxer in the same way as Manny Steward transformed Lennox Lewis after his KO loss to Oliver McCall.

Paulie's slick style made Khan look inaccurate at times in their fight on Saturday.
