I don't think he can prepare for a fight like Bradley or Alexander by the end of July. That's too soon, he just fought 2 days ago. Besides, he's fighting in England next. It makes more sense to make the Bradley or Alexander fight in US where it will attract a bigger audience.
I would love him to fight Prescott, Maidana or any top lightwelterweight (besides the other 2 champions) next.Comment

Khan will face EITHER Prescott or Maidana. I can't see him fighting to massive punchers. It's far to high risk.
Presscott is probs lower-risk, because skill-wise Maidana is better and there would be a higher chance of acutally catching Khan with big shots!Comment

Khan needs to fight in July, because Ramadan begins at the start of August. That means if he doesn't fight in July, he will be out until October. He has already stated he wants to fight 3 times a year from now on.
Bradley already has an early July date set up with HBO. That rules Khan out. One or two months is not long enough to prepare for a fight of this magnitude. Alexander has a July date set, but again that doesn't leave Khan enough time to prepare for a fight of this scale. Maidana won't be ready to fight until August. Khan can't fight then because of Ramadan. That leaves few legitimate options for Khan to fight.
Now, he can possibly fight Katsidis, who is a big lightweight and a huge puncher, and could easily move up to LWW. Or he can fight Prescott who has fought at LWW several times, and has recently expressed his desire to fight Khan again. This would be a great fight for Khan because it would put him back in the ring with a big puncher and give him a chance to avenge his only loss. Both of these fights are great stay busy fights and very dangerous for Khan to take on such short notice. If he fights one of them and wins, it leaves him in great stead to fight Maidana or Bradley in October.Comment

He needs to stop fighting guys from lower weight divisions, it's pathetic now. As a lightweight he was fighting feathers and now e wants a lightweight to move up to 140? It's a joke.Khan needs to fight in July, because Ramadan begins at the start of August. That means if he doesn't fight in July, he will be out until October. Prescott is naturally bigger than Khan, and has just fought at 140 scoring a KO, and he has also fought at 140 before. Katsidis is a big lightweight too. Both are good tune-up/stay busy fights. Now he can wait until October to fight a top 140 pounder, or he can fight a top 140 pounder in October, and fight in July too. I don't know about you but I wouldn't mind seeing Khan fight in July. An extra fight is an extra fight. There is no one else at 140 to fight apart from Maidana, Alexander, and Bradley, who are not available to fight on July 31st. I guess he could fight Campbell, Witter, Kotelnik and co, but to be honest, Katsidis or Prescott are much more dangerous fights.Comment

Katsidis is a big lightweight and could make LWW easy. It would be Khan's FIRST competative fight, one where the winner is not an almost forgone conclusion. I doubt it would happen for two reasons. The effect it would have on Katsidis position in the light weight division with him being stripped of his interim champion status and Team Khan won't want the fight because he is too dangerous. Khan looks crap when he is forced onto the back froot ,he does not have leverage close up and Katsidis the classic pressure fighter would take him there and KO him. Katsidis is mentally very strong likes a tear up and would EXPECT to win. It would be worrior Vs show Pony. He is all wrong for Khan. I would love to see the fight and look forward to Khan's first competative fight but this fight is not going to happen.Comment
