it's a contract term.....last i checked fighters circumvent commission regularly with contract terms.....glove size, ring size etc etc.

One thing GBP is really good at, pumping the PPV number and live gates sales to look as if it was that big. Mayweather - JMM fight said to have generated over 1 million PPV, but why reports say they filed only 400 thousand buys in the IRS? LOL . Its very unusual to have a fight get so high PPV sales when you can see a lot of empty seats, like 2K - 3k less than the capacity.

In the Mayweather - Mosley fight, Its true that there more Mosley fans in the arena. You could hear them shout Mosley while you cant hear Mayweathers name.

thats crazy if you dont like the tough and gritty nature then why watch boxing us may fans just look at boxing for what it is until a fighter that fights mayweather and beats him u gotta respect his game and to be honest even if somebody beats him he still will be considered an all time great defeating 15 champions and 8 future HOF without so much as a scratch. evidently you are not a boxing fan because the whole point of the sport is to hit and dont be hit. maybe u should look into mma were they wrestle on the ground all three rounds

I like how u totally left out certain facts of that whole fiasco (my biased friend, hehehe)...so u mean to tell me all that happened was mayweather was ready to fight pac just like any other fighter with no unreasonable requests on his end? Floyd moved from 135 to 140 to 147 as quickly as he could manage......that's why his body of work in thos divisions isn't as complete as it was at 130....anyone who has followed Floyd, Oscars and Shane's careers know floyd was chasing those 2, especially Oscar early in his career when they wer 47 pounders and eventually 54 pounders......Oscar used to call Mayweather "the pest"........the first SSm vs Floyd negotiations for 35 didn't happen over 1. Money and 2. Shane himself moved up to 47 to fight ODLH.....the same way fighters chase Pac and Floyd today is the same way fighters used to chase ODLH........it's instant payday and recognition.........do you understand how boxing works on a business level at all???? That is all boxing is......it's a business like anything else with moeny involved.
