Floyd moved from 135 to 140 to 147 as quickly as he could manage......that's why his body of work in thos divisions isn't as complete as it was at 130....anyone who has followed Floyd, Oscars and Shane's careers know floyd was chasing those 2, especially Oscar early in his career when they wer 47 pounders and eventually 54 pounders......Oscar used to call Mayweather "the pest"........the first SSm vs Floyd negotiations for 35 didn't happen over 1. Money and 2. Shane himself moved up to 47 to fight ODLH.....the same way fighters chase Pac and Floyd today is the same way fighters used to chase ODLH........it's instant payday and recognition.........do you understand how boxing works on a business level at all???? That is all boxing is......it's a business like anything else with moeny involved.
