Without even reading all the posts on this site, I know that a hater on this site is going to make a comparison to Pac to try to make Floyd look bad. Therefore, let me ask this question. How much was the live gate for the Pac/Clottey fight, the one that had a paid attendance of 50,000 people?

Again, this is only true AFTER Mayweather beats his opponent. The majority of the haters on this site were saying Floyd would not agree to fight Mosley because Mosley was too fast, too strong and would knock him out. After the fight was signed, they said Floyd would find a way to get out of the fight. When they saw that the fight was going to take place, all of a sudden, Mosley was old and over the hill. He wasn't old and over the hill when he beat Margarito or before the Mayweather fight was signed.

The same will apply to a Pac fight. Right now, all the haters say Pac will destroy/KO Floyd. As the fight gets closer, Pac will start to become too small to match up, he will be too distracted by politics, the blood test will affect him too much, etc., etc. After the ass whipping is complete, the haters will say 'Pac started his career at 108. Mayweather should fight a "real" welterweight.'

Well Big James, answer me this, why didn't mayweather take on elite fighters like mosley and delahoya when they were in their prime? He finally fights mosley when he 38 first of all, secondly he waits till mosleys fight is cancelled to all of a sudden take on the fight (knowing mosley probably overtrained obviously, even cotto mentioned it in a recent interview incase u want to question my observation)....and also ontop of that asks for 50 blood tests of this 38 year old fighter...now this is someone u blindly consider so great?
Lets see, even marquez had a better selection of opponents in light weight as he made his ascent to welter (diaz and casayamor and ko'd them both). Now ur boy fought who on his way up...philip...ndou? washed up sharmba? corley the journey man? zab the guy who doesn't take his career seriously and still popped floyd in the head in early rounds and made floyd one dimensional w/ that lead right hand (watch the fight again till round 4)....oh and also arturro the warrior but a guy there to be hit all nite?

Before u start crying "hate" why not just read my points and not be in denial, floyd is a good fighter but his cherry picking ways make him not as great as his should be...regardless of his big mouth that makes his fans take everything he say as gospel. If he fights and beats pac...without askin for **** that no boxer ever asked for to bend the rules...(since when u see real men like ali, marciano, sugar ray leonard ask for such concessions. Truth be told floyd is a diva and so are his fans....end of story!

common sense would tell u that people are willing to pay more to watch the "great avoider" then pac man it actually make pac look bad when he puts an additional 30000 people in the stadium and still has a horrible gate. parking spaces at the stadium cost more than the tickets did at the clottey pac fight just face it mayweather is back as face of boxing now not pac
