    British Fighters

Get over them. They are inferior to the average fighter from the states.

Exactly! if they weren't they would come over here and kick some ass, but they don't all they are interested in is "good domestic scraps" and domestic "dust ups"

Who are you talking about exactly?
Because many world-class British fighters in the past have been avoided by the big-name American's (Graham, Benn, Eubank, Lewis, Calzaghe).

        Case and Point. William Joppy.

He was ducked by Calzaghe.....who claimed he was on vacation in 2001 and was unable to challenge for the WBA world title.....so Howard Eastman was his replacement. Look was happened to Howie boy....done in by an "Average" fighter from the states.

Joppy would make Calzaghe look like the trash that he is.

I don't remember that, and I doubt Calzaghe would of been able to make 160. But come on, William Joppy

that is a ludocrisly outragous statement. you cant just generalise fighters like that my friend.

maybe our best fighters arent as good as americas best fighters but there's always one or two who can step up and represent britain - aka - hatton

You have to leave Lennox out of this convo, he's one of the most decorated heavyweights of all time, and he fought over here dozens of times. The rest I might agree with you on.

the usa changed the way boxing is judged
the original judging of pro boxing in the UK was done on a points system, like the amateurs, to determine who the most skilled fighter is

then you yanks changed it and awarded points for aggression

hence, a skillful fighter should fight where skill is rewarded
