            Paulie Mallinaggi - Win
Edwin would have stopped him a lot sooner than Amir did IMO. what Amir did that really made the referee stop is **** away at Paulie, hurt him to a point where it made no sense to continue and with Valero's power that would have happened much sooner. trust me I respect the **** out of Paulie Malignaggi but Edwin Valero had way too much power for him, I think he would have been stronger at 140 too which is even worse for Paulie

            Marcos Maidana - Win
this would have been an excellent shoot fight but we all know based off the fight with Ortiz that Maidana's chin may not hold him up against a powerhouse, Edwin Valero was a powerhouse times 2. they both got granite chins but Valero's offense is the key. Marcos Maidana is a threat to anyone with gloves on that weighs 140lb but Valero was too explosive and if you ask me based on how he handled DeMarco his skills were underrated too, Valero would have KO'ed him IMO

            Amir Khan - Win
this would have been a VERY tough fight for Edwin, 1 I'm not too sure he would have just stampede his way threw. people think a Boxer wakes up everyday feeling the same EXACT way as the day before like they aren't human beings, Amir Khan had a bad night against Prescott and not another one since, he has immense physical advantages and enough skills to keep Valero off him. I'm not too sure Edwin would win a decision against him he would have to KO him which is VERY likely is Valero would've been able to land a flush shot, who would I put my money on? I'd edge out Valero just because of the power and chin he had, whatever Khan hit Valero with most likely wouldn't have phased him as bad as what Valero hits Khan with, t would have boiled down to who can take the other guys shot better and I think that slightly favors Valero.

            Devon Alexander - Loss
This is another guy I'm not sure of, I think Valero was awesome when it came to ****ing away but I never got to actually see him against another prime, skilled fighter and Devon is exactly that. Valero was a pressure fighter but Devon can handle the pressure u feel me the question is can he take Valero's punch? if Devon could stick to his jab and displays his superior footwork I see him beating Valero but that is only due to his superior skills

            Timothy Bradley - Loss
I think he would beat Valero too my only worry is his chin, trust me man I KNOW Kendal Holt can punch but he almost knocked Bradley out u feel me, true that Bradley got it together but Valero didn't ever fall back, his pace didn't change in fights he was always relentless. I've seen lesser punchers daze Bradley, however if I had to put money on it I would have picked Bradley because I trust more in a skilled Boxers ability to control the action over a reckless fighter who just lets loose with little to no regard

            Victor Ortiz - Win
I think Valero would have been too much for Victor, I like Victor but to be honest Edwin had too much firepower in them gloves, if Maidana hurt him then you better believe Edwin would have hurt him except worse because I think Edwin had a better offense than Maidana. Edwin Valero by TKO

            Manny Pacquiao - Loss
Edwin stands as much of a chance against Pacquiao as Pacquiao stands against Valero, not to say they evenly matched because Pacquiao was by far the better and more proven fighter but due to styles clashing it's basically a barn burner where anyone can win, they each haven't felt the kind of power that they would be dishing out to the other before, I think Manny wins it but only due to what I know of him already and what I DIDN'T get to see from Valero, it would definitely go 12 rounds I just think Manny would pull it off in the end with a close decision, I wouldn't be surprised to see people calling robbery to preserves Pacquiao's name

            Juan Manuel Marquez - Win
he beats Marquez and maybe stops him, Pacquiao dropped Marquez 3 times and couldn't stop him so the chances of Edwin stopping him are unlikely but I think Edwin would win based off cleaner and more flush shots, Marquez is an excellent fighter whom knows how to break down opponents, he is a great counter puncher as displayed against Pacquiao but he doesn't blaze you like Pacquiao has been doing as of late, he has awesome power but in a shoot fight with someone like Valero I don't see Marquez edging it out

            Joan Guzman - Win
Valero wins a decision, you might say what you want about Joan but that boy can box, at the very least he wont get knocked out but I don't see him beating Valero, Edwin was too much of a come forward powerhouse, he doesn't pace much it's an all out war for all 12 rounds with him and Guzman didn't show me what it takes to endure the kind of barrage Valero would have given him and walk away with a win, he might make it to the distance but he wouldn't win because Edwin would negate all his pitter pat with flush hard shots, might even drop him a couple of times, just my opinion

            Humberto Soto - Win
again just like Guzman I think Valero would beat him but not KO him, Soto is a warrior and at the very least he's gonna hang in there. Valero is brutal though and if he could do it how I can imagine it he would beat ALL these guys named but that's just my imagination, truth is Soto has an awesome chin and even though Valero was a beast I don't think he would have KO'ed Soto, he would have however beaten him decisively and IF he did stop Soto or Guzman it would have been in the championship rounds for sure and Valero would be all bloody himself, it wouldn't be easy..

I think Valero losses to Bradley, Alexander and Pacquiao and beats everyone else. a guy with a style like Edwin Valero doesn't go undefeated for long at the very elite level of his division. I think he losses to those 3 but gives them ALL close and hard fights. it saddens me that I write all this and I will never get the chance as a fight fan to see if it all would have unfolded this way, now we can only speculate which is just plain awful man. Edwin Valero will be truly missed in the sport of Boxing, R.I.P once again champ

I would have said Paulie but Valero never faced anyone as good as Paulie so it is hard to tell.

I chose a lot of people on there, but I think the only guys I left out were Alexander and Pacquiao. Valero was damn good I thought, but I don't think he ever would've beaten them two guys.

It depends on the weight at 135 I don't think he would of beaten JMM. But, he would of beaten any other LW. At 140 he would of beaten everybody except for Bradley or Pac. Alexander would of been a toss up.
