Yeah it was but I felt that Kats was just eyeing him up. Even in those first two rounds when the jab was working well, Kats looked dangerous when he threw a few combos. I gave the first round to Kats even though Mitchell looked busier because he got the clean and powerful punches. You aren't going to keep Kats at bay with a jab. You have to get in a few power punches to make him respect you. Mitchell was just getting jabs in but not any crisp power punches. The writing was on the wall.

He'll be a prick about it and brag about beating a feather-fisted guido that he and his team hand-picked to look good against.

Mitchell boxed well in round 1 and very well in round 2.

I knew Mitchell would lose though after seeing how easy Katsidis was able to get inside in round 1 when he tried, Mitchell looked very uncomfortable when Kats got in close and Kats didn't have much trouble landing when he got there.

Kats took full advantage of it in round 3. His left hook was the reason why Mitchell got hurt both times.

          Nice performance by Katsidis.

To be fair though, mitchel was saying way too much crap about fighting khan and knocking him out, saying khan has the easy route, hand picked oponents etc. Instead he just overlooked kats, but you cant complain if he gets **** back from khan. I hope khan keeps it classy and not be an idiot ala froch comments

I found it bizare that the commentators gave Mitchell the 1st Round based on his jab?? Katsidis took the first round easy.

I wouldn't say he took it easy because majority of the round was controlled by Mitchell's jab.............but when Katsidis put the pressure on, trapped Mitchell and threw, he landed with big shots.

I gave Katsidis the first round also based on his bigger cleaner shots.

Please, Khan is a C plus fighter at best.

As far as I'm concerned Khan has no grounds to start laughing at Mitchell, to me there is no shame in losing against an opponent who a world class fighter.

ok. maybe not easy. But certainly took the 1st round with his big shots.

The biggest problem was he moved in straight lines backwards and allowed the stronger guy to bully and basically **** him on the ropes.
