There have been many great British fighters over the years such as Lewis and calzaghe, and many Hof skilled fighters such as Hamed. While this is the case it bothers me how hyped some terrible fighters out of Britain have been. We saw khan get blitzed by a bum, froch outboxed twice on a row once to a green fighter with no prior championship experience, and once to a shot fighter. Now we witnessed the prompt destruction of yet another Brit who was being hyped as the next best thing out of Britain. There have been many great British fighters, and there will be more, but please quit hyping unproven fighters with no world class experience at alll.

in fairness to K-Mitch, outside of a few blind nationalists on this forum, he hasn't been especially hyped - if anything, Khan stole all the shine off Kevin years back. The size of the event you saw tonight was more about his local-hero status in the area he comes from - those were his people.


The problem isn't so much to do with Mitchell being overhyped, he's a talented kid and a natural fighter - the real issue lies herein,

Kevin needs the opportunity Amir got in working with a top American trainer, I've been saying that for time on here, because his potential isn't going to be realized without it. Kevin's a fighter whose style is totally reliant on the classic orthodox fundamentals of boxing -- he's not a Haye or a Calzaghe or a Hamed -- and the general coaching standards of orthodox boxing fundamentals in the UK are absolute trash, plain and simple.

This fool is riding Alexanders **** like he is the greatest thing ever after he beat Urango in decent fashion and claiming a proven top operator @ 140 like Bradley is ducking him. Alexander has had 3 ****ing fights vs decent opp, Urango, Corely (coming off a 3 loss streak) and an old broken down Witter. But yeah its us who hype fighters up

No one has been hyping Mitchell up as a world beater, the guy IS a good little entertaining fighter, he is also fighting 1 weight class to high aswell imo.

But i have never seen the TS write one non negative thing about the Brits apart from when it comes to Hamed, soo what ya gonna do..
