I'm not gonna come out and say Mitchell sucks because there are still some Brits on here that hype up Amir Khan to no end. Mitchell at least had a win over Prescott on his resume which isn't saying much but still. I think it's possible that Kats is a very improved fighter these days. I'd never seen Mitchell fight before, but I heard good things about him and I saw highlights of his knockouts on the Brits' sigs and thought to myself he's one of these prospects with an action style. And he probably still can be even if he loses more fights.

I mean we support our fighter unless he is a complete ****head so hence people have sigs and stuff, guy is too small for a lw thought after taking Prescotts shots he could handle Kastidas. Problem is Kastidas has fought on a world level vs very good fighters.. Mitchell when hurt didn't fight smart either (thats experience again)

I will say i haven't seen any threads from Brits proclaiming Mitchell as the next best thing, unlike the TS appalling nuthugging of Alexander after he beat a contender all be it impressively. He just hates the Brits for some reason..

I don't think anybody needs to kick dirt on Mitchell. I've heard people saying that Katsidis is mediocre too, and that's just garbage. That one poster that thinks that Peterson and Soto could beat him has a right to his opinion. But they definitely have not fought better fighters than Kats has. And Soto has looked like absolute **** here lately. Against bums nontheless.

And I agree with one poster on here who called out Bully by saying Calzaghe deserved the hype from the Brits that he got. He never fought one skilled fighter in their prime except for Robin Reid and got a debatable decision there. That warrants praise? If Warren protected Mitchell like he did with Calzaghe I'm sure that Mitchell could come up with Calzaghe's record. Look at Erdei and Chavez Jr.

There have been many great British fighters over the years such as Lewis and calzaghe, and many Hof skilled fighters such as Hamed. While this is the case it bothers me how hyped some terrible fighters out of Britain have been. We saw khan get blitzed by a bum, froch outboxed twice on a row once to a green fighter with no prior championship experience, and once to a shot fighter. Now we witnessed the prompt destruction of yet another Brit who was being hyped as the next best thing out of Britain. There have been many great British fighters, and there will be more, but please quit hyping unproven fighters with no world class experience at alll.
