he was drained dumb dumb, he hadnt made 147 in over 8 years, they tried to rehydrate him by IV drip bfore the fight and they had to take him to the hospital b.c of dehydration....

Then why the hell did DLH come in at 145 then instead of 147 if he was so drained? Does it make any sort of sense to come in 2 pounds lighter than the weight limit if you're already struggling to make that weight?

        imagine this
4-5 punches combo that is thrown at u and as fast as a 1 punch
how the heck can u cover urself from that?
ull use a sheild to cover urself from all angle?
        saw wat happen to clottey?
he doesnt get that much chance to punch LOL
        he throw 1 he'll get 4-5 back

u wont ever win any scorecard even if u throw 1-2 punch even if most of it is accurate like clottey
and by the way u wont be able to see where u gonna punch coz all ur goin to see is the gloves on ur face..

I do think Pacquiao's speed and unorthodox angles will present alot of problems for Mayweather.

To me though it's not a question of how regularly Pacquiao would land on Mayweather.

In my opinion the differencemaker in this fight is that unlike with any other opponent floyd has ever faced....shots that are blocked, or even partially blocked and shots that dont necessarily land cleanly; punches that arent measurable by compubox standards will have a bigger impact than the shots that do land cleanly.

I'm sure Mayweather will have the higher percentage of connected punches only because Pacman doesn't have that great of a defense. Of course, Mayweather's connect percentage is always high because he generally will pot-shot his opponents in the opening rounds. However, with Pacman's style of coming in and out, while throwing 4 to 6 punch combo's, should give Mayweather trouble. Everyone knows that Mayweather has the best boxing skills today but how are those skills useful against a quick and hard hitting brawler? I'm sure we'll see the Mayweather who fought Corrales, if this fight ever happens.

Because he probably took diuretics and when they cut your fluids you can crash below where you wanted to go , its all because his body was so lean through training he had no muscle mass to rehydrate , when your crashing like Oscar your not in control , if he had of known exactly where he was in that last hour before weigh in he wouldnt have been 145 because he would have drank 2 pound of water , its not knowing exactly that the drying out process can fall under , lots of fighters come in below , but if its your right weight your fine but it wasnt Oscars weight he way under where it should have been , fluid is not held in nothing you need substance to hold the fluid you are going to lose to make weight , no substance no fluid both ways .

Ok, everyone acts like Pacman is going to keep a high output vs. Mayweather may I ask why? Mayweather has a way of making fighters think to much. He punishes you for mistakes, forcing you to lower your output and think everything you do over. Pacman slowed down his output to 580 punches against DLH because he got stung. He will end up throwing about 60 punches around landing at about 25% which would be about 15 punches a round. If Mayweather sticks with his 45-55 punches a round and lands his normal 45%(which I would imagine would be easier against a poor defensive fighter like Pacman). Still landing 22 punches a round, so he would still be landing more punches, making Pacman miss with his defense. PBF is also one of the best counter punchers in the business, that straight right that has pop will land just like Marquez did. Now add more calibration and speed and this could be a seriously one sided beating. Morales made Pacman look bad when he was out of his prime by boxing, PBF is a better boxer then him.

What will Pacman do when PBF ducks that straight left and counters with a straight right? What will he do when he jumps in and gets hit by that check left hook that destroyed Hatton's career? Seriously Hatton and Pacman jump in in a very similar way.

PBF is just a bad match up in general. Mayweather is a ingenious natural counter-puncher with speed, precision, and power. If JMM gave him that much trouble, what do you think a smarter more precise counter puncher will do with more power? PBF was made to box raised to be a great boxer, sorry but Pacman would be a long shot in this fight. Mayweather always takes over a fight like no other fighter of this generation. I would love for PBF to be forced into being humble and respectful person.

I believe that PBF has more problems for Pacman than Pacman has for PBF. That PBF has been in with much bigger punchers than Pacman with the same amount or more speed(i.e. Judah). Mosley couldn't knock him down with a ridiculous power punch landed perfectly on the chin. Pacman doesn't have the power that Mosley does not one punch at a time. While Pacman throws punches in bunches he will pay because of his sloppy defense and wide open boxing style.

Manny can find out what that percentage may be just by agreeing to 0 days.
