problem with this guy is that he was boring as hell, i didnt see end of fight cuz i fell asleep after 5 rounds of him jabbing. these fighters have to realize that boxing is a business and if they want to make money, they better be entertaining or have a personality

His best chance at any sort of "big" fight is Angulo since Angulo has the interim version of Sergei's title and they both have the same promoter.

He'll never get a fight with Martinez or Williams, who should be fighting at 160 anyway.

Dzinziruk was very good last night. I look at those things that would show no matter what the competition.

Conditioning - never once did he appear tired
Jab - fast, accurate, active, and powerful
Defense - very hard to hit clean and knows how to block punches effectively

He impressed me last night. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Dzinziruk is an excellent fighter. There's a reason why he was shamelessly ducked by Paul Williams.

I would give him great odds to beat Williams.

Anyway, I'm downloading the fight as I type this. Going to try and get highlights up within the next 2 hrs.
i dont think he's quite 6' tall. he fights longer than his reach would indicate since he's almost exclusively a lead hand fighter with a very sharp jab and a feet first fighter. what i mean by that is that he's always setting up his shots with his feet. he'll stay right outside of punching range and make a lot of subtle movements like stepping to the side to create angles for the jab.
              very smart, skilled dude.

WTF? So he should've abandoned the jab and let slow ass Dawson tee- off on him?

That sounds like a championship winning plan.

I have no idea what fight you were watching, but he looked spectacular last night.

It's his inferior opponent that made the fight a little worse, but when you see him against the best opp, he rises to the occasion.

Don't sleep on this guy. He is after all a quality champ.

You know what he is talkin about. Dzinziruk could of easily stopped him earlier but I guess he felt like carrying him until the Ref saw enough. Ill tell you this, if all of his fights are like this he will have a hard time getting fights with the big names cause his style is not fan friendly and these boxers are egomaniacs that want high rewards low risks not high risk low rewards. Dont get me wrong, I think he is an excellent boxer but to make it here in America you either have to finish them, play the bad guy role, or bring in your own fans from europe.

I enjoyed the entire fight. It was a masterful performance by Sergiy.

Perhaps if he said before the fight he wanted to eat Dawson's children, or bit off Dawson's ear, you'd find him exciting? Or if he ****d a beauty queen you'd say he had personality?

I appreciate the professionalism, sportsmanship and self-discipline of fighters like Dzinziruk.
