The Taliban don't equate with Islam to me.

They shouldn't to you.

They are fruitcakes who deny education and healthcare on the basis of gender.

Under the Taliban you couldn't practise outside your home as a nurse or doctor if you were female.

That is against any basic morality preached in Islam.
