that my friend, is the proof he's wasting that 'best offense'. why not opt to knock out your opponent?

Its about styles.
Floyd chooses to outbox his opponents using skill and makes sure he doesnt get damaged along the way.

Pac goes forward and and uses his work rate and volume punching to win. He takes shots to land his own.

For me great offense is about

1.Accuracy / timing.......Floyd
2. connect percentage...Floyd
3. range of punches......even
4 . power....................Pac

Fail. Mayweather is far from. He only shows offense when he has his opponent where he wants him. He doesn't do that out of instinct. He's defensive always first and plays safety first. Now you love showing gifs vs Mosley. MOSLEY! The guy is almost 40. He has no timing, never had good defense, and never was good against boxers. So why are you showing something you could show Winky doing to him or Forrest? Hell, Mayorga was winning most of the fight with Mosley until he got knocked out. Fraud looks good against the opponents he picks because they make him look good. People keep saying the same about Pacquiao picking the right opponents. Yeah, that's why everyone picks him to win them right? It's only AFTER the fight, people are left so in shock, they have to come up with crazy excuses. Offense isnt all about accuracy. Youve been exposed when you compared this topic to NBA, and youve got accurate replys based on that. Just accept it and just let Pac have this.

Sure, numbers don't lie, but in all my time, i've never seen a number knock someone out. All this number **** and stats are for the odds makers. When you step into the ring all this number BS goes out the window.

No one has stacked their numbers in front of a punch combo and hope it works as a defense. These topics are getting mundane, just the same **** in a different bowl.

It has nothing to do with workrate, or we'd all be saying Paul Williams has the best offense. Mayweather's offense is entirely dependent on his defense, it's like an extension of his defense. He doesn't throw and land with the variety and dynamic nature Pacquiao does, and really he doesn't even compare.

This is my point on the klit's. Their offense is their d as well (jab) and they are the most untouchable fighters in boxing.

So Floyd Mayweather is capable of doing what Pacquiao does? Is that what you're saying? Floyd's offense can't be shut down because his offense is just part of his defense.

Pac's offense now is not the same as it was against Marquez, and for getting "shut down" it sure was good enough to score a knockdown and win the second fight, when Pacquiao hadn't developed the skills he has now.

LMAO, take away the speed and footwork, or make him 9 inches taller and slower. Take Floyd's speed, footwork and reflexes away and his defense is the same as Eddie Chambers. That's the argument you just made.

Now I know the reasons why this Burner guy is the most hated member on this site. Just to tell the truth I'm a Mayweather fan but reading the posts of this guy called Burner I'm beginning to understand why Floyd gets a lot of hate on this forum.
