Accuracy means the punch lands. Aggression means u throw a lot of punches, but they dont necessarily land.

For me, a definition of a great offense is accurate, well timed, high connect percentage, range of punches.

Floyd is obvioulsy well ahead in connect percentage, and accuracy, and timing. He doesnt waste punches. Pac throws everything he has, that doesnt mean it is a better, more effective offense. IMO.

      • in terms of kos

out of 56 fights, pacs KO % is 67%
while floyd has a 61% KO rate in 41 fights...you have been powned

floyd 61% in 41 fights>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pacroid 67% in 56 fights....haha. those who think pacs offensive game is better than May's. i laugh at you

        people lie, numbers dont

floyd owns pac, in every single category.

        • Pacquiao's offense > Floyd's offense all day!!!!....I can't believe TS took it there .....Floyd is the most ACCURATE gun buster....but he doesn't bust a automatic....Floyd is like a DEADLY modern hunting rifle with a scope.....Manny on the other hand busts a automatic....he's like a AR-15 without the scope....Floyd has the better defense by far and Manny has the better offense by far.....thats why the fight needs to get made.

          • stop with the compubox analysis statistics.

compubox = human beings pushing buttons while watching the fight.

Its not some infallible super computer. You cant have the best defense in the game as floyd does & have the best offense at the same time. You cant do that. Its an impossibility.

You either have one or the other or you are very good at both.

YOU CANT HAVE THE GREATEST DEFENSE & THE GREATEST OFFENSE AT THE SAME TIME. ITS AN UTTER CONTRADICTION.

Pernell Whitaker is one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time because he waited & countered & threw less. The more you throw the more you get hit. in order to have great offense you have to throw punches thus leaving you open to getting hit & not having the greatest defense.

What is one of the big criticism of pernell? he can get boring. not enough action. not enough kos. Isnt that one of the main criticism of floyds?

having a great offense means exciting fights, scoring knockdowns & knockouts. Its the complete opposite of floyd's style. If you are gonna be offensive you gotta give up some defense, there's risk.

this aint the matrix. this is real life. a combat sport. you cant have both super great defense & a super great offense at the same time in boxing. its a physical contradiction.

You can be a great fighter heavy on defense like locche, whitaker, benitez, camacho & pep. can any of those guys be considered as having a great offensive exciting style that score tons of knockouts? Not really. they would lose out on great defense.

Look at the legendary offensive machines in the sport. Pacquiao, foreman, tyson, pryor, armstrong, julian jackson. Any of those guys have legendary defensive styles? Of course not. Why because they throw too much so they can be considered great offensive machines.

Now there are great HOF fighters with both a very good defense & very good offense. Salvador sanchez is one. ray leonard is another one. roberto duran. ricardo lopez. ray robinson. tommy hearns, hagler. They have very good offense mixed with very good defense. They cant be called super great defensive tacticians because they get hit often enough to be involved in great exciting fights.

You cant do both. Early in floyd's career he had very good defense & had a very good offense. As he's gone up in weight he's been all defense.

You cant really do both. You cant be a great defensive tactician then claim to be a great offensive dynamo at the same time. Its a physical contradiction. An impossibility.

Stop with the compubox count ****s. Any punches that are not a jab is counted as a power punch that landed. Can you really call boring potshotting dull unexciting scorecard victories as great offense?

i pity floyd then... he just does not use that 'best offense' very well...

are we talking about sweet science **** here? tapping your opponents with counters? or the offense that physically breaksdown your opponent?

if my calculations are correct, if the fight happens anyway, pac will counter that jab with his face... in the process he will have a chance to ktfo floyd. by that time, i hope floyd does his 'devastating' offense and not just that 'accurate' offense. with what he's doing, he won't hurt pac at all.

imagine how many knockouts floyd will have when he gets to 56 fights?

                  (manny)56-41(floyd)=15 fights difference
(mannys kos)39-25(floyds kos)=14 fight ko fights difference

well pray ur bf floyd kos 15 fighters when he reach to 56 fights to surpass manny to get atleast 68% LOL

yup ur right people lie, numbers dont,oh correction "people like u are dumb, numbers not"
u should laugh at ur self, oh maybe you are now HAHAH

explain the reason why floyd only has only 41 fights at age 33?
                  cherry picking?
                  hiding on his shell?
is this a sign of cowardness?

agreed... just can't see a potshot as the greatest offense...
