    Burner,

I appreciate your efforts here, but Floyd does not have the best offense in boxing.

Everyone says Floyd has the best defense, but there are a number of fighters who get hit less than him. However, Floyd's d is the most complex and thorough.

Offensively, you have to following that are better than Floyd:

    1) The Klits. Their offense is both more effective than floyd's in finishing their opponents AND it also makes them nearly untouchable in the right.

    2) Pac-Man. Accuracy is part of offense, but it's not everything. For example, the Clottey fight. CLottey was completely covered up the entire fight, no way to be accurate with him. Manny has sick pop in both hands and is just as fast as Floyd. He also has a better up and down attack.

    3) Yukioris Gamboa- this dude's pop/angles, combos are among the sickest I've ever seen.

    4) Celestino Caballero- Think Pwill but way faster so you can't counter in between his punches so easily (unless your last name is gamboa)

    5) Bute- His attack is very similar to Floyd's, offensively, but he's got more pop.

    6) Can't wait for Kirkland to come back, his o could be the best in boxing.

Bottom line, Floyd's offense is effective, but its his D and quickness that make him what he is. They are what frustrates his opponents. His soffense is very good, but to say the best in boxing is just an argument you are never going to win with anyone that knows his boxing.

      • Its gotta be the Klits right now i know their opposition isnt much but they finish just about every single one of their fights. And their offense is basically there defense.

He throws every punch in the book with speed, power and laser precision. Also he places punches in the perfect spots.

He mixes it up between body and head punches. He rarely misses.

Saying Pac has the best offense is like saying Paul Williams has the best offense.

Just because you take the most shots in the NBA doesnt make you the best offensive player.

          That is all.
Damn bro. You started some ****. You got mothafuckas who normally don't hug mothafuckas, riding **** hard. All because you said Floyd has the best offense.

He however doesn't throw combo's anymore.

To me, an offense like pacquiao, which is unpredictable, overwhelming, powerful, fast and from all angles is a true definition of amazing offense.
You win this thread. To me Floyd's offense is like Ray Allen's offense in his prime comparing to NBA while Pac's is Kobe's offense in his prime. Floyd is all about accuracy and effiency. While Pac can just go bezerk on his opponents and just destroy from any angle!

that's what happens when you don't speak the truth.

klits, manny, gamboa are all definitely better.

                  • I mean...I see the point of the thread...but if you really want to explore who is more accurate than the other...you got to see the percentage of punches landed for at least the last three or four fights, MAYBE compare a common opponent like DLH or Hatton, or ...........um..........marquez (that's a good one). Explore the facts and check the opinions at the door. If that was done through this 11 page thread then I stand corrected. Otherwise, it's pointless to go back and forth with Pac/Floyd fans.
                    Peace.
