This fight needs to stew. I doubt that 150k offer has increased much and Bradely should be looking at $1M a fight, he's a fantastic fighter and not a fraud like Khan.

        Signed to fight Maidana.

        Wants to fight Judah.

Yet the guy with two belts. Gets left out? When he would be making the same money fighting the other guys why not go after the champ?
Ah, I see. But that goes back to my Mayweather-Margo comparison. Mayweather refused to fight Margo because he couldn't get Cotto afterwards for 10M. Why fight Cotto, the biggest draw in Top Rank for the same amount of money as some random guy (Tony)? So instead, he went for another fight in which he made the same amount of money. Bradley is doing the same thing. He shouldn't be getting 150,000 to fight the unified champ, when he could fight guys like Maidana for the same amount. As much as the fans hate to admit it, boxing is a business. There no absolutely no boxer (including Pacquiao) who doesn't consider money. I guarantee Pacquiao-Clottey wouldn't have happened if Clottey asked for a 40-60 split.

i was all for this fight happening now. i believe that a good fight now will generate the huge fight they want later at WW. However 150K is unacceptable. I can't blame Bradley for that if this is true becuase at the ned of the day after taxes and expenses and wages....what is he gon end up with 25k? I can't blame him for that!

Yeah, no ****, which is exactly why he wants to hold off on the fight until 2011.

all this stewing talk is bull****. HBO isn't gonna pay both of them bigger paychecks for taking tune ups. Bradley/Alexander imho is for the 140 lbs champion. when they fight and a clear winner emerges, that will be the guy HBO pays the big paycheck to.

if they fight, then a clear leader emerges for HBO. if they don't fight, then HBO will have to spread the money around and neither gets paid.

Bradley said he didnt want to fight devon last year because showtime offered him 150k.But he fought nate for 125k,now devon is the unified champ and both are hbo fighters. If bradley wins in july, and devon wins in august the the fans and hbo should demand that this fight happens in the fall and both will be paid.Lets see what excuse team bradley comes up with next.

I agree with Bradley, they are the two biggest fighters in the division (but only popular and really known to us boxing fans), so I don't think they will get major dough, but they deserve more than 150,000 dollar pay day to battle each other. As for warm ups, Maidana would not be a tune up for either but I think they both torch Marcos. Bradley vs Alexander will happen, I think it will be an even better/bigger fight after either of them get a Khan/Ortiz out of the way before hand.

HBO would offer them a lot more than that now. The reason it wasn't a big offer back then was that Alexander hadn't beaten anyone at that point. Plus both fighters were with Showtime then. But now Alexander is a unified champion, with two great wins against world class opponents under his belt; and both fighters are now with HBO, who pay a lot more than Showtime. So Bradley bringing up what he was offered back when Alexander hadn't yet beaten anyone, and when both fighters were with Showtime, is just ridiculous, and makes me doubt his sincerity.

Given that both fighters are finding it hard to find decent opponents for their next fight, it's just idiotic for them not to fight each other next. If they both fight a meaningless tune-up next, that won't make their fight any bigger than it is now. If anything, it'll do the opposite, because Bradley has lost a lot of fans recently with his reluctance to fight Alexander and his Mayweather-like attitude.
