Oscar De La Hoya Says "Pacquiao Doesn't Hit Hard"

Oscar comes across as pretty bitter in this interview, but then it's not surprising with top level sportman for them to never admit when someone was just better than them.
I've certainly never heard Michael Johnson say that Usain Bolt would beat him, he's lavished praise on him but has never been subservient. I detect the same from Oscar, he'll hold onto the thought that had the fight been at a higher weight or had he been in his prime he would have taken out the Pacman regardless of whether this would have happened.

Imean what exactly does "I couldn't pull the trigger any more mean" ??! Pretty vague bs if you ask me.

It means that when it is time to counter or hit pacman, he had lost his reflexes to teh point that pac would be gone by the time oscar would unleash a punch.

PLUS OSCAR WAS DEHYDRATED, WEIGHT DRAINED ETC. THATS WHY HIS FACE HAD SOO MUCH DAMAGE. HE WAS LITERALLY SKIN AND BONES.

DeLa Hoya only said pac hit as hard as vargas and mosley AFTER floyd sr suggested pac might be on something. After pac and oscar had their fight, oscar said he didnt hit hard.

I wouldn't hate on Oscar though, he's a great fighter. I also don't think he's insulting Pacquiao when he says he doesn't hit hard. I think people need to take into consideration that De la Hoya has fought fighters way bigger and stronger than Pacquiao like Hopkins, Vargas, Trinidad, Mosley,etc.

Pacquiao obviously has good pop but most fighters he's fought said they couldn't deal with the speed and angles the punches were thrown, not the power of them.
