Oscar De La Hoya Says "Pacquiao Doesn't Hit Hard"
Collapse

Oscar comes across as pretty bitter in this interview, but then it's not surprising with top level sportman for them to never admit when someone was just better than them.
I've certainly never heard Michael Johnson say that Usain Bolt would beat him, he's lavished praise on him but has never been subservient. I detect the same from Oscar, he'll hold onto the thought that had the fight been at a higher weight or had he been in his prime he would have taken out the Pacman regardless of whether this would have happened.
Imean what exactly does "I couldn't pull the trigger any more mean" ??! Pretty vague bs if you ask me.Comment

It means he was shot and, weight drained, and dehydrated.Oscar comes across as pretty bitter in this interview, but then it's not surprising with top level sportman for them to never admit when someone was just better than them.

Ask Hatton, Cotto, Morales, Marquez, David Diaz, and Solis if he hits hard. They probably got something to say.Last edited by 'Sugar' Freddi; 05-14-2010, 05:15 AM.Comment

Actually Diaz said in his in ring post fight interview it wasnt so much his power but his blazing speed that got him. That being said I also think Pac has a good punch, DLH told Hatton to be physical with Mayweather because he himself could walk through his punches, I think he said something similar about Pac. DLH just has a lot more world class experience and a chin to match compared to the guys Pac fought <147Comment

Steroids is a possibility... actually people are saying he's on peds (performance enhancing drugs), which allows him to have incredible stamina by working out for very long periods.
Has nothing to do with strength, moreso accumulation of punches without getting tired. Thats it....
Longer work out sessions mean you can train your body beyond its limits increasing your cardio and endurance. If you dont have that, then what happens is you will have a tired pac man which is already shorter, and not as brilliant a boxer as MAYWEATHER. That would end in a avery bad night for pacquiao, PURE PUNISHMENT.
Everyone has their own opinion and mine is that he is juicing.Comment
