Last Monday promoter Gary Shaw reached out Yoel Judah, father/trainer of former two-division champion Zab Judah, to see if they were interested in taking an HBO-televised fight against WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on July 17. Yoel told Shaw he would speak to his son and call him back with answer. Shaw never heard back from Yoel. [Click Here To Read More]

Do you know how the boxing business works? Why in the world would they make that fight now? The HBO audience don't know who either guy is. Bradley has never even fought on HBO. Even Richard Schaefer in some video interview said the fight is great now but it was be huge a year from now after both guys get the right exposure on HBO.Comment

2. Why owuldnt make the fight now? Neither one of them are known at all. Neither are big stars. Bradley said he wanted to fight some cake yet hes back to Abregu. Alexander sells like Nelly in St. Louis. Why not fight him?
3. Schafer has been wrong before. 3 Million buys for May-Mosley comes to mind. This same Schafer actually used the excuse that he was trying to build up Maidana-Khan rather then them fight each other.
To me the logical money fight is actually vs. Alexander. Alexander only can put up 15,000 or more in STL.
Letting things build up is killing the sport. He rather fight a little known WW than a guy with 2 belts in his own division. Something is up pump. Id love for yall to catch up with Devon about this.Last edited by B.U.R.N.E.R; 05-13-2010, 04:03 PM.Comment
